Hi guys I think I've found the right place to ask some questions, first time grower & first time forum poster. Hola amigos, I live in Perth. So I'll give you a little background info. My friend had 20 plants he went down south and they all pretty much died except for two. I've been growing plants and veges for a few years and as a bit of an experiment I thought I might be able to resurrect some growth in them. So the research train began and I'm pretty stoked to say she looks healthy. One was a male so I dug him up and threw him out before he had a chance to jizz loads all over the female. I have no idea what strain it is, only that it is female for sure. …

Allo All, I didn't think I would be asking this fairly simple question just yet - seems hotly debated too In discussion with my house mate - in an outdoor situation we would most likely trim these big sun leafs to allow light to the lower section of the plant. But being they are 3.5 weeks in veg from poping first water leafs in the seed tray - I am not so sure. Thoughts?

Afternoon everyone. As a new member to this forum I have been flicking through heaps of topics and threads and reading up on your successes and failures in growing and one thing I came across was planting 2 or more seeds to a pot. For the record, I have done this before but not in a pot. I used a plastic storage box (50 litre IIRC). drilled holes in the bottom, filled it full of soil and placed 5 seeds in there. 1 in the middle and 4 in each corner (Not right in the corners but you know what I mean). . . . . . All sprouted and grew and everything was fine as they were small plant but I am curious if anyone else has done this before and what their results were lik…

Righto. So attempt #2 after my first seedling died due to lack of oxygen and possibly too much light.. Im wondering for freshly planted seeds (germinated) what is the best environment for them to grow in? What is the best amount of light? How much water should they be given on a daily basis? What temperature and humidity % should they be in? If you look at the thread "am i doing it right?" you will see my little grow box. I've since added in an intake fan and circulation fan to give fresh air to the plants and am no longer sitting the pots as high as the one in the images, instead they are sitting on the bottom of the box. Any tips would be great! Cheers guys

Hey folks, new to the growing game here so feel free to flame or explain in simple terms . Back in February this year I ordered some auto seeds, all went well (cheers bonza) anyway I read up on a lot of things but originally they were destined for outside, (I was living in bowen at the time so plenty of humidity and warmth etc,) however I had to move back down sth and I had to repot so to speak, so the girls got bugger all sun for a while as I basically had to hide the bloody things, and by the time I got to settle in again I thought I would just put them under some energy saving bulbs, a Philips 24w spiral warm 1550lumes etc, and a smaller variety etc. in the last 2 week…

I tried putting some using autopots in an outside grow. I took two auto pots each with its own reservoirs found a sunny spot and left them to it. One of the autopots was placed into a high walled polystyrene container. This seemed to help alot. This plant was a lot healthier. To get the best results Id place the Rez into an insulated container as well as the autopot valve. The rez should be a light tight container. Having tested this out; Ill be trying this again sometime with some really choice mint.

Hey everyone, sorry if my posts are all over the place at the moment, im a bit confused with this forum, but you are all helpful im at 2 week stage since germination. I have 5 (i think indica, just seed that ive saved) that are ready to take out of the little 3lt pots and move to 10lt (it all the room i have and for stealth) they are under a 80w CFL 6500k over night in a stealth cupboard thing, around 27-29 degrees celcius and around 60% humidity, then outdoor in full sun for about 11hrs a day, so basically getting 24hrs light a day/night. 1. I have them planted in canna terra and will be repotting into the same medium in the 10lt pots. Everything will be hand …

Hi If you were trying to get the most out of your plant, do outdoor growers ever supplement their plants with lights? Would hooking up a LED Flowering grow light 135-watt be a big benefit? Or would a light addition to a flowering plant put it back into vegetative state because of the light / darkness ratio changing? When would you apply the light if it was a good addition, anyone experimented with this? Feel free to tell me i'm dreaming, literally new to this and started v late in the season just trying to yield something... Cheers all -Tea

I honestly didn't know a thing about "main-lining" until after I started my plant. I topped at 3rd node and trained the 2 stems to be horizontal with bobby pins into the soil over the stems. I then started to top them and apparently that is what this technique is. From what ive seen im doing alright but ive done it way too early. What do you guys think and also that weird arse leaf with 3/5 yellow with green fleck and 2/5 normal green!? Fucking weird. Also sorry for the phone pics. Thanks, Shauden.

Just build my box and finished germinating my seed, I've got a sprout (Jeremy) and he is growing quite nicely in my opinion. only a week old (from seed). wondering if my setup is okay for the current stage and what do i need to add to allow for the future. Trying to keep it low cost. Current stats: 2 CFL warm globs @ 1550 Lumens each 1 15W circulation fan Temp & humidity monitor soil is a seedling potting mix for my local hardware watered twice daily to keep the soil moist 24 hour light cycle
