First Grow, Can I find out if they are Female now? Advice Please

Hey everyone,

 

sorry if my posts are all over the place at the moment, im a bit confused with this forum, but you are all helpful

 

im at 2 week stage since germination.

 

I have 5 (i think indica, just seed that ive saved) that are ready to take out of the little 3lt pots and move to 10lt (it all the room i have and for stealth)

 

they are under a 80w CFL 6500k over night in a stealth cupboard thing, around 27-29 degrees celcius and around 60% humidity, then outdoor in full sun for about 11hrs a day, so basically getting 24hrs light a day/night.

 

1. I have them planted in canna terra and will be repotting into the same medium in the 10lt pots. Everything will be hand watered with no hydroponics system

 

2. I have used no nutes yet, but i have Canna vega & Canna flora here waiting to be used.

 

3. I want to SCROG for maxiumum yield as its a small stealth grow for my clinically diagnosed insomina and I want to treat myself instead of using shit pharms!

 

please see the pictures... they are 2 weeks and about 10-15cm high

 

4. When I repot, should I FIM (as i plan on experimenting with this) then put the screen in?

 

5. should i start using the Canna Vega now?

 

6. I also have a 250w HPS, when should i replace the CFL with this?

 

 

 

7. Also, still not sure if they are male or female. am i ok to cut the light down now and force them briefly to determine? or are they to young? should i FIM before trying to force them to flower for determination?

dont repot yet...that is a good size pot for the grow, if you do multi-feeds (hand water a few times/twice a day) you can finish in that pot too

hand watering is easy, but over-watering is always a possibility.

wow, plants look healthy, time to start the Canna veg

time to top your plants- topping (or FIM) will make the plant bushier, give you more 'main' bud sites

growing your own is the only way to go!

dunno

yup, but, be safe, start with like a half strength to ensure you don't burn the plants

if you want, yes.

I use 80w for my vegging - have for years

They will let you know their gender once they are old enough

if you let them grow, they will start to show their gender without throwing into 12/12 

if you have an urge to find out, throwing them into 12/12 then taking them back out to veg more will actually slow them down in the long run.
