Hey all I was haveing a look in ebay for an ozone gen to help with cutting out the smell from my grow and saw these. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/USB-Powered-Ionizer...1QQcmdZViewItem My question if for the ppl out there that are useing ozone to get rid of there smell, with my setup i have a little area in the top of my wardrobe 230mmH, 500mmW by 800mmL were all my hot air is extracted to and from there i have ducting extracting the hot air out near a window,would these Ionizer's help with getting rid of some of the smell if thay are any good i would use one in the area were all the hot air is extracted to andone at the end of the ducting so do yas think it would work, all…

Hi I will be starting my first indoor hydro grow soon. I have 2 20L buckets set up, draining to a resevour, in a cupboard. On one bucket I have a drip system set up and the other I have misters set up in the bucket. I just won’t to experiment and see how both methods go. The question that I have is what would be the best seeds for me to get as this is my first grow? I have been looking at www.planetskunk.com and I only want get cheap seeds (from Nirvana) for now, in case I go wrong some how. hwdy....got a temp problem in my cabinet...plant is only bout 5 weeks old..goin great....in a few weeks I wanna go 12/12....but temps are in high 30's....I got 4 computer fans for air circulation but i think i gotta get a bigger exhaust fan ta get rid of that hot air....any other tips to keep tha cabinet cooler when i go 12/12????

hi im curious on thoughts re flushing your medium? (grodan in this case - but could relate to any medium) do u believe it is necessary to flush the medium regularly? (eg forthnightly?) with plain water to remove salt build up? i've been told that "If you have to flush your plants because of salt build up it means there is somthing wrong with with your system or your watering cycles" so assuming that you are watering correctly, with sufficient run off etc. does that make flushing uneccessary (except for the end prior to harvest)?

Hi is there a guide to what size carbon filter is needed for what room.. Im planning a new grow with 2x 600w HPS lights in a room. I got the lighting, just need a fan and carbon filter now. I was thinking about doing it in a cupboard, or two seperate walk in robes, but its easier just converting a whole room and then getting a replacement door for in/out air.

hi, confused first time grower here in sydney i've got 3 plants growing on my balcony, they must be about 10 weeks old from seed. i just noticed that the tops of the plants look different, and was wondering if they've actually started flowering already, even though there's still more daylight than night. lower down the plants there are none of these growths, just very small 'hairs'/leaves at the intersections where branches leave the main stem i'd appreciate it if you could check out the pic and tell me - are they flowering already?? cheers sausage

Hey guys, this is my first thread on here and its gonna be about my little darlings ofcourse, i got 4 little tykes in a potplant, all seem to be going rather well and they are only about 4 weeks old, 2-3 inches tall. My major problem i have, i was givin a plant yesturday from a friend i do not know how old the plant is, and he hasnt been lookd after. He is an outdoor plant thats just been left and waterd every so often. His main stem has been snapped of, but he has grown another kinda branch of the side of the main stem. hwdy...just tryin to suss out how ta get pics on here...used tha vid camera ta take pics today...they are in jpeg and they are all over 450 kb...changed one pic to 'GIF', and only got it down ta bout 240kb....I'm lookin at posts on here and they got pics all thru their post..I can get tha pics right down in 'kb', but tha quality isnt too good... any thoughts???

This forum is full of great info. My only problem, being from the states I don't understand a lot of the slang. Oh well guess I'll burn another maybe it will make more sense then. I have been kickin an idea around for awhile just have not figured out how to put it together yet. I got a small space with two 400w HPS as a supplement I also have two 4 foot double fixture fluorensants sitting on end to keep the lower parts growin. My question is I would like to put my plants on some kind of turn table that would rotate at about two revolutions an hour. I think this would even out growth a little better. Any body got any ideas for a set up like this? Thanks in advance …

Just wanted to know what everybody thinks is the best way to germinate your babies. The way i have been germinating my seeds is by putting them in a jar half filled with water and leaving them in a dark area in my cupboard. This is a methond i picked up on an internet site, but it doesnt have a very good succsess rate i think the ratio was 1:6 germinate. :angry: So if anyone can suggest a different and more effective way to germinate seeds please get back to me :thumbsup :yingyang
