hwdy...just tryin to suss out how ta get pics on here...used tha vid camera ta take pics today...they are in jpeg and they are all over 450 kb...changed one pic to 'GIF', and only got it down ta bout 240kb....I'm lookin at posts on here and they got pics all thru their post..I can get tha pics right down in 'kb', but tha quality isnt too good... any thoughts???

open and save the pictures in paint, it usually makes the pictures 1/2 the size for me OR if that doesn't tickle your fancy, just reduce the resolution

thanx for tha tip...i might just need ta get a crappy digital camera and try that...cant get tha kb's down usin tha vid camera..anyway, all is good when everythins growin...

you can still open the images in paint and resize them to reduce the size and quality heaps, eventually it'll drop the size to within acceptable limits but it will take a bit of time and playing around to work out what size you have to resize them to

Theres a little thing you can download from microsoft, called an image resizing powertoy. Basically, after you download and install, it adds an option to your right-click menu to 'resize pictures'. It takes probably three clicks to resize your pictures, its really fast, and its only about 500KB. Bloody good tool imo, been using it for a while now and no probs at all.
