Hey all, I don't think it'd be too hard to get a recipe for making butter out of pot trim, but I thought I'd ask those of you guys that do it for some concept first of what's the least you need for a practicle run. Me and misses have always enjoyed eating grass more than smoking, except for the excruiatingly bad tatse. We always just simmered the pot in water and added this to the biscuit mix, without sugar even. It tasted like the worst medicine,and seriously made ya gag. Here is a reciped that would be great for adding cannabis too the mix. Its ripped from Nigellas Xmas book Get a leftover xmas pudding thats cooled, break it up in a bowl, pour over 125mls brandy, add some chopped bud, 2 tablespoons of golden syrup and mix together. Put in 125g of melted best quality dark chocolate into the mix stir again. Then roll into little balls, put onto a cling film covered baking sheet and place in the fridge to firm up. melt white chocolate to drizzle ontop to make them look like dikensian xmas puddings. Would be very easy to much on and probably wouldnt tast the bud at all.

It's holiday time so it's time to make some butter . I've used 10grams of trichome powder I've collected over about 6 months with 500 grams of butter. I chose to do this on a rolling boil as I hear it is the best method. The bottom pot was filled half up with water, and when it started boiling I put the other pot ontop with 500mL of water into that. After 10 minutes or so the water in the top is hot, so I cut my bricks of butter into about 20 manageable pieces and chuck them in and stir and wait. Ok here's the deal... I can't explain the science behind it but liquor (specifically vodka and/or grain alcohol- its called 'everclear' in the states) will naturally absorb THC. This will work for weed itself, clipplings, or stems. NOTE: the recipe below if for stems specifically and you will have too fuck around with the dosage otherwise....sorry. Have recently tried this and find that its great for the following reasons: 1) takes no time to prepare; 2) does not require you using a bunch of MJ; and 3) it is a great way to make use of 'commercial grade' (still KB...no schwag) MJ that just doesn't smoke very smooth. I want to make some butter soon, and I've done some reading so I know what the procedure is with the boiling and straining etc.. I just can't work out how much butter and stuff to use because all I read is people using ounces or more. I plan on using 1/4oz of yellow powder from the grinder and a few grams of leaf and bud. Is the yellow powder a good way to go, has anyone done this before? How much butter and water would I use to make something fairly potent? I'm worried if I don't use enough I'll waste it. I'm thinking 200gram of butter and 3 cups of water.

So we were at the snow sitting watching TV with the 4 cone swivle bong going. and we all had the muchies bad, so we were thinking of making brownies, then it came to mind to make weed brownies. We chopped up the weed and put it with the butter at a ratio of 40% weed 60% butter and their was about a quart in the pot. Well it was a package mix so i dunno. we added the butter into the mixture etc and cooked the brownies (it wasent a big batch) and we got like eight brownies. But it hardly worked at all. the non stoned person had one and he dident get stoned at all. Any ideas why it failed and we wasted a quart?

Okay, I don't like smoking; therefore, I've been doing Green Dragon. I got good results with some stems and stuff that sat in Everclear for three weeks. This involved no heating of the cannabis prior to steeping it. Problem: it takes toooooo looong. Next, I made a batch with Everclear on the stove; no preheating of the weed.
