Hey guys/gals, This maybe a silly question but has anyone ever had a pollenated plant then turn hermie?, I can't see why if the plant was pollenated why it would then throw some balls around but I'll throw the question out to the more knowledgable growers out there

Hi all, A quick introduction, I've been growing my own for more than 20 years (I'm 50, if that helps, an old fart) and I'd like to discuss my experiences with other growers. Experienced or not, it doesn't matter. After all, I take it, with this forum, we're all here to help? I like to grow my plants out in the open. That's to say, they are not hidden. They grow in my garden amongst other things, fruit vegetables etc. I don't have high fences or screens, although I do live in an urban part of a rural town, I don't live in a city. Yet the plants are always visible to anybody who cares to look, from within or without. I've proven to myself over those years that it is possi…

Tried The Professor's Original in coco. Bugger all salt and the same nutrient for both veg and bloom. Reasonably priced, around $70 for 5 litres of both A and B. Can't find any info on it though, other than online hydro store sites. Anyone here have any experience with this product?

Hey guys, I've gotten the heat down to a much better range, seems to be sitting in the 24-30 degree range. However one of the thc bombs is feeling a little sick and I can't figure out why... Started LST earlier this week and is in its second week of flowering. Soil and perlite mix and feeding with a light dose (15ml/ 9 L) of Seasol Powerfeed for Tomato's and Vegetables ( the red one). Also just started giving it seaweed and blood and bone (hoping that it would solve some of the easier deficiency problems). The other thc bomb which was planted a week later has no issues and is looking healthy with the same treatment. Only other thing I can think of is a phosphorus d…

Right now I'm a couple weeks in to my first Autoflower and first indoor grow, with that there's been a pretty big learning curve. Currently i'm running a 18/6 light cycle with the dark period starting at 10pm and finishing at 4am. I've been monitoring the temperature and have been a bit concerned with the temps, at around midday the box is sitting at 32c/89f and drops to around 23c/74f in the dark period. The last few days however it's hit heights of 35c/95f and that's where I'm drawing the line, I've tried lots of different things including temporary fixes like putting blocks of ice in the box and nothing has significantly lowered the temps. So my goal is to move the lig…

Whenever I think of cinnamon, I immediately think of sweet treats around Christmas time. But cinnamon really is an incredibly healthy spice that has more uses than just adding flavour to your favourite desserts and drinks. For example, you can use cinnamon for gardening. “Huh? How can you possibly use cinnamon for gardening!?” Yes, I know it sounds crazy but apparently sprinkling some cinnamon on your seedlings is a great way to protect your vegetable seedlings from “Damping Off” disease. Perhaps you’ve never heard of Damping Off disease, but you may have seen it before… it’s a fungus that looks like cotton and it grows on the stems of your seedlings. As it turns out, cin…

Hey guys, i just never got around to cooking last years trim/leaf into oil. Its stayed in a big plastic bag with ventilation on top under my bed for the last 12 months. Would it be OK to cool this into oil at this point? I usually get water to simmering, melt in the butter, then add in the grinded trim mix, stir it/let it sit for about 6 hours whilst very lightly simmering, then strain, add water, repeat (will need less the second time), then combine water, let it sit in fridge overnight and all the butter will raise to the top of the water, you pull it off with your fingers, clean off the bottom of the butter that was touching the water and your done. I just want to …

First time grower got couple of plants both 1.5 months old. Have noticed some (what I assume is) pre flower little caps. Please see attached photos and if you know either way pls let me know. From my little knowledge I would guess that plant 1 is female but plant 2 male.

Ok guys/gals , I know there is a heap of info regarding hermies etc all over the net but I can't seems to find an answer for a few questions I have. I'm currently starting week five of flower and unfortunately around week 3 I had my best female (of three) go hermie also unfortunately I didn't notice until shim dropped pollen and impregnated my two other girls. As soon as I noticed I removed the hermie outside and sprayed down the two other girls with water. The hermie I cut the balls off and left it outside to grow and hopefully it lasts long enough to make into hash (no other male parts have formed). Now two weeks later I can see numerous seeds in the remaining two plant…

Hi people, I've been looking at the above website and wondering if it's worth a punt. I'm guessing people here will say not to risk it. If I were to risk it, what are the chances it would get through customs? Cheers, GoodStuff

Hi everyone, I'm looking at buying some White Widow seeds online for growing indoors. I want to be able to produce 500 grams - yes, I know, ambitious. It's for Rick Simpson Oil. This website talks about yield in terms of light wattage: http://www.theweedblog.com/how-much-marijuana-does-a-marijuana-plant-yield/ But how many seeds do I need? Is a pack of 4 seeds enough? Here is the stuff I want to buy: http://www.herbiesheadshop.com/female-white-widow-x-big-bud-feminised-seeds-2376 Thanks, GoodStuff

I got a job in the city and need it so will have to pack up my grow closets and put it all away for another day. Unfortunately I was just getting to the stage after 8 months where I would start to get a regular supply so I don't have anything saved for the future besides my small stash and what I have in flower. I would hope my next place will allow me to grow a couple of discreet plants but I would have to wait sometime to make sure it's all OK. Until then I will have to decide what to do here with my plants. I'm glad I did get a little seed collection together in the last 8 months or so I have been going. So I can keep the strains from the 3 females and 1 male seed I …
