this one is a bit unusual, but I was hoping someone might know the plant that smells deliciously like skunk. Every now and then when driving through parts of the South East Queensland countryside where there is thickish rainforest-like growth near a swampy area or near a creek, I get a beautiful smell of skunky goodness. My first experience of this was on the old bruce hwy when going through Nambour. I think you can still smell it, if pulling off to go towards the big pineapple. I know it's a bit random, but I reckon if you lived near an area like this, you could grow the stinkiest strain and no-one would have a clue ... plus it smells great - at least to me.

Wonder if anyone can advise on growing outdoors on a city block. What stealth measures work? Maybe I'm just too paranoid to consider outdoors in the city?

Which additives in particular are responsible for the commercial crap going around down under? I'm new to hydroponics and want good stuff, which we all know doesn't always come down to lighting and genetics, nutes definitely play a big part in end product or else there wouldn't be such a large range available. I just want dense nugs without having to sacrifice resin production.

Howdy Folks, I was just wondering if anyone has had experience taking cuttings from mature plants? The reason being that i have 5 plants in a tent and they are about a month away from being finished and one of the plants i have been spraying with colloidal silver to get male flowers growing on the female plants, I have done this before and it works really well, the 2 branches i have been spraying have male flowers just starting to appear and if i leave it for too much longer i am going to have 5 plants covered in female seeds. My choices are remove the plant with the male flowers OR put pollination bags over the two branches (which i don't have atm) OR cut the two branche…

Looking back at last 2wks when I went from led for seedlings and small plants to 600w hps here is what went wrong . 1.... plants dried out looked similar to nutrients burn 2.... humidity below 40% temps 28 to 31deg 3....unstable environment 4....amount of air exchange After many countless hrs of watching and recording info , buying humidifier, searching web for hrs looking for something similiar, No matter what I tried no improvement, clutching at straws I decided to switch exhaust fan off for a couple of days using the vents in the tent as ventilation so opened 1 vent at bottom 2 at the top and recorded info over next 2 days, well what do you know temp range 24to 30 de…

hi all. i have a seedling that has 3 cotyledons. 1 normal one and 2 that seem to be sort of fused together on the bottom half, but separated top half. i guess this shouldn't have much of an impact on the rest of the plants life?

Howdy Folks, Still trying to figure out a better way to keep my Res cool over the summer months and came across these little gadgets, I think they are about 40mm - 60 mm wide so quite small but i was thinking that 3 or 4 of these with computer heat sinks pasted on the backs will drop the water temp in a res by enough to do the job, They run off 12 volts and they seem very simple to set up. I will copy a couple of links that i have been looking at. Let me know what you think. Was trying to work out why my plants aren't well checked everything water ph soil ph drainage ventilation temperature lights were good even went to extent of checking light meter values still no success, after checking grow diary I noticed my humidity never got above 40% my plants looked dry and showed what I thought was but burn or light burn under the led red light you could really see the difference in colours of leaves, I thought maybe a wet towel in bucket of water would help , still no good so I went and brought a humidifier and bingo humidity 60% maxing at 80% the growth and improvement has been significantly increased . So I guess the moral of the story is in a sm…

Hey everyone, last grow I only got entill 8 weeks and started getting mold, I decided to pull up before I lost out even More... Since then Iv brought a Ionmax ION 610 Desiccant Dehumidifier 6L and the humidity has been around %45 %50 now the room temp is always around 20 to 25 now. Will this be enough to stop mold this grow? I still notice moisture on the leaves of a morning so a little worried there... How can I prevent mold? What's the safest solution to have on hand to spray the plants just in case of mold? Also is my humidity at acceptable levels during flowering ? The unit is set at %40 but seems to only get the room down to %45 max
