I would like to hear from any growers who have had experience with companion growing, ie what did you use and your results. I have tried it for the first time using garlic with fantastic results. Drove the mites off for starters which was a bonus!! First time i have not had to use any sprays(natural of course) to kill the mites. Anyone please reply...

just wondering if this would work or not room currently on 18/6. say i had some clones that were ready to go 12/12 in a weeks time but i had some other clones that i still wanted to grow for another 3 weeks. after the room went to 12/12 could i do this- each morning bring the younger clones outside at 6am and bring them inside at midday and have the lights programed to come on at midday and go off at midnight. this would give the younger clones 18 hrs and when big enough just leave them in the room for 12 hrs to bud. cheers

Ok growers, here is some info on companion planting. Seems like a lot of you dudes are having to use horrible chemicals like Mortein...yuk!! Here is a simple easy way to get rid of bugs naturally, especially mites: I have scanned it in as i couldn,t be shitted typing it out. The books are by Gorge Cervantes and Mel Frank. There will be a few forums with cervantes part 1 and two, and mel frank part 1.(couldn't get it all on one forum) Now this definately works and i can say that as i have tried it and i will always plant garlic with my mj from now on. I had mites and about 1,5 - 2 weeks later the mites dissappeared. A few points: If you have a lot of bugs well established…

Hiho everyone well here is what i was planning for my first grow and would like all the advice you can think of I have a storeroom in my garage that is about 1.5m by 2m and i think it was used for growing before as there is a hole in the roof for a ventilation fan and there are hooks all over the roof with 4 powerpoints in this little room. The room also has 4 removable bricks, and glue left on the wall from having something (im guessing a reflective surface as at the moment it's bricks) stuck to the wall. Anyway i just want to grow so i no longer have to pay for it and me and my housemate no longer have any supply worries. Because of this i only really want 2 plants…

Hey everyone Just read THIS THREAD. It brings up some VERY good points about how good flushing .really. is.... Everyone knows hydro reacts alot quicker so can starving it of food for 2 weeks really be that good? How would we feel with no food for 2 weeks.... Has anyone used that Ozi tonic stuff... ment to be for flushing your plants... Im thinking about getting some. Has anyone used MonsterBud by the same company its a flower additive you add it around the 5th week i think so i guess its like PK 13:14 Has anyone tried flushing for just 5 days or so? If hydro reacts so quick 5 days should be heaps. Cheers

Tell us everything you do with regards to nutes for your grow. What brand you use, what concentrations, do you mix to a formula or moniter with a meter, do you use bud additives or foliar sprays, do you use a heater, how often you mix a fresh batch, how you flush, what kind of system you use them in. basically, everything you do in relation to NUTES! hoping to get a good database of information here so I can link to this thread from the FAQ.

Hey all! Yep, I've been absent for over a week now, getting the grow together with Majestic. Haven't had time to come online at all Now. 4 out of 5 seeds germed (paper towel method), yay! 2 days later they were all germed, put under 2x18w cool whites in a misting chamber, and poked up out of the rockwool another 2 days later on Sunday. Today being Thursday, the bubbies are between 3-4 inches tall, and are going strong The little round leaflets are still present, I'm expecting them to drop off soon as the 3rd and 4th pointy leaves are only just starting to come through. Does this sound right? I hope we haven't got it wrong here Just a reminder, Majestic and I are …

Apparently zeolite is a naturally occuring mineral that just so happens to absorb moisture and odours wherever it is a present. A small amount is supposedly enough to rival carbon filtering. It is most commonly used in the grow room suspended in an ideal position in a mesh bag. Every now and then the mesh bag is 'recharged' in the sun to restore it to it's full absorbant state. This is what I have read about zeolite. Not much else is known, and even the omnipotent overgrow fails to provide answers in the form of decent testemonials. This is the only place I have been able to find Zeolite for sale. Does anyone have experience using this stuff?
