hi, this is my first post here. i am starting a small grow of just a couple of plants at home, and ive cracked the seeds between 2 sheets of coffee filter paper. when they had opened i put the into styrophome cups filled with soil with holes for drainage. its been about 5 days now and they havent come up through the surface. they r outside the house and its been verry cold here in the last week or so, so i was wondering how much the temperature would affect them? would i be better to put them under fluros or something? thanx for ur help

hi all, got a few problems and this is what i've come up with. i face a bit of dilema in that i have to leave my girls for a couple of weeks at a time for the next little while. i've got 6 plants in flower DWC style which a mate can look after for a few weeks but the problem is my 12 seedlings and 10 clones that i've got going. my buddy finds the top up method of DWC fairly easy (and i love dwc anyway) so I've had to spring into action and rig up a 20 bucket re-circ system with control rezzy for the little un's. I'm already stretching the limit with power so i've decided to veg under fluro's until the other lot is finished and then tranfer them over. for lights i'…

Hi everybody, This is a post on behalf of a relly, The pictures show 1 of several mj plants Breed unknown) grown from seed in a shed with skylight, they are based on a soil/perlite & ferts mix (with some water crystals in base) in pots (hand watered); . Blood & Bone fert . water crystals Watered on the odd occasion with some Growrite mix but otherwise just straight good old Tassie water. uxins, cytokinins and gibberellins are the principle growth-promoting hormones found in plants. All three control, stimulate, inhibit or alter a plant's development to one degree or another, depending upon the external environment. Auxins tend to promote rooting, leaf and fruit retention and directional growth; and cytokinins promote active cell mitosis, ion transport and general plant vigour. Gibberellins are noted as the most powerful of the growth promotors because they , increase internode spacing, induce and promote flowering in many plants, and modify the flower sex expression in some plants. Investigations in Japan in the 1920's of the pathogenic rice fungus Gibber…

I have been uber keen the last few months to give growing a shot. Caus to be honest, im realy tired of paying money for a weed. I have considered doing the whole indoor growning thing, and after a bit of thinking i have decided that its just not for me. I dont have a large amount of income to support lighting systems or any of that serious equiptment. All i want is a decent ounce or 2 to kick me off and basicly have a bit of fun. Has any one previously just let their grass take its own course? If so would you mind sharing a few hints / tricks? Also some cover up tips would be much apreciated. Im not all that keen on prudly displaying my bounty to the neighbo…
