Blue OG and Vanilla Kush in bloom
GARDEN STLYE: Indoor
GROWING MEDIUM/SOIL STRUCTURE: Coir with perlite vermiculate mix
POT/CONTAINER SIZE: 2 Gal geopots
NUTRIENT/FEED MIX: Professors nutrients (PN) a+b @ 25ml per 10l, PN flower booster, Canna Rhizotonic (intermittant), Mycobiome arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi.
FEEDING CYCLE: Daily watering with nutrient mix at around 700ml per plant (VK a little less), flush every 2 weeks.
FLOOR SPACE: 800mmx800mm
AREA HEIGHT:1600mm
LIGHTING: HPS
WATTAGE:400w
AVG TEMPERATURE/HUMIDITY: weather dependant, usually around 30-40% when light is on @ 28-30 degrees.
NUMBER OF PLANTS: 2, Blue OG and Vanilla Kush
DAYS IN FLOWER:35 -40
HARVEST YIELD: Unknown, last lot with 2xVK yielded around 200g
left is Blue og, right VK
3 of the lovely Blue OG heads taking shape
Its been difficult to achieve my usual spread with the 2 different strains. normally the bushy VK spreads wall-to-wall by about week 3 of flowering but the blue OG being a more sativa style plant, keeping them all low and level has been a challenge. The Geoties have proved a handy invention especially this time round! The towel just covers my nutrient container to keep the light out. Both plants are on an old basket out of an old bar freezer sitting upside-down to circulate air under the pots. Intake is directed underneath the pots.
Beautiful, typical indica behaviour from the VK. I love the lush, thick leaves. Vanilla Kush is a gorgeous plant and the purple buds look truly alien when finished!
I use both SCROG net and Geoties to achieve the bend in the stem and to spread the heads. Keeps the pressure off the SCROG netting, allowing it to stay straight and spread the lighter branches more effectivelyThis grow has been an interesting one! It's been by first attempt at growing anything other than the VK and the Blue OG is a significantly different plant, leaning more towards Sativa-dominant in its appearance. Both plants have been topped only once and the Bluey has been accidently "supercropped" once as a result of going a bit too hard with the LST. I had never really considered supercropping in the past but stumbling on it by accident has been eye-opening. It seemed to thrive! Among all this, particularly at the beginning of their life I've been occupied with other things so they've had less attention than usual. I don't anticipate anything like the previous couple in yield but I consume far less these days so its not an issue. Although the last 3 weeks have been known to really fill out the girth of the heads in the past so who knows! Also, I'm thinking the Blue OG longs for more nitrogen, in the next few days I'll pick up some HyGen Nitro K and it should sort it out. Has anyone else had fun and games with OG strains lacking nitrogen before? I've got a good mate that has had the same issue with straight up OG Kush in the past, but was it an isolated issue? Open to ideas and we'll see how it plays out!

Hydroponic Indoor Set up
Hi,
NewbeeWant to set up low cost hydropnic indoor, well under house, 4 plant tent.
I was thinking of going for led light, smallish tent 1.5 m x 1m x 1m, 4 seperate hydro buckets or on multiplant bucket.
I would like some advice on fans and general set up. I am in the Dandenongs and will probably wait till the 30 to 40 degree days are done for the summer: Probably March.
Plus if you know any local growers chat groups I could join that would be awesome or recommendation for hydroponic store that would be cool too
Thanks in advance
very excited about this growing journey and filling my plenty vape with some home grown awesomeness
Happy in the haze...

Here we go again
Hey team
9years later and back to share my growI have an unknown female clone I was lucky enough to get from a mate and all I know of her is she knocks ya socks off. Currently she is in day 9 of flower under two HLG240v3s and seems to be doing great. After going to flower from the veg tent with a viparspectra 1500 (which preformed great imo) she has taken a hold of her new environment and is going nuts. I have just introduced a CO2 bag to see what will happen and have got around to getting some silica after reading a bit.
She is getting 1300ppm including a+b professor nutrients , Cal mag by current culture, turpene gold PN and pk top up by hygen. Silica will be introduced for her by hygen at next feeding. Looking forward to seeing the results
As for my little mainline cheese, she is doing well too. She's been topped and topped and topped for 8 colas and is such a sweet, stocky little girl. Took her outside for some playtime in the big girl sun today and she loved me for it...then I chopped off her arms
All and all a good start, the clone I received was taken in flower and took time to revert back and is now loving life, the cheese was from seed
I'll keep ya posted,
So good to be back

Day 20
GARDEN STLYE: Pots on the balcony
GROWING MEDIUM/SOIL STRUCTURE: Coco w/ 30% perlite
POT/CONTAINER SIZE: 5, 15, 25, 52L
NUTRIENT/FEED MIX: Canna Coco A+B, Ryzo, eco-neem, eventually PK 13/14
FEEDING CYCLE: Whenever they need to be watered
FLOOR SPACE: N/A
AREA HEIGHT: Limitless
LIGHTING: Sun during the day when it's sunny, CFLs during other periods
WATTAGE: 260W
AVG TEMPERATURE/HUMIDITY: 25C - 42C
NUMBER OF PLANTS: 4
DAYS IN FLOWER:
HARVEST YIELD:Well it's been basically 3 weeks and here they are. Originally I intended to use pure sun but seeing as we keep getting cloudy and rainy days with more to come I thought I'd get 2 x 130W CFLs and cupboard them with a small fan. They'll be in there whenever it's not hot and sunny outside.
The cupboard is about 1.5m tall when the lights are taken into account, and 1m wide with about 600mm depth and I'll be LSTing them so hopefully I can get some awesome large growth for around 5 months until they start to flower.
I thought they would be a bit bigger than they are now but they seem healthy enough. Advice on this would be appreciated.
I've started giving them a small amount of nutes, 1.3 EC, only started that yesterday.
Also, there's a few pics of the Sour Diesel by itself because it seems a bit runty. It may have been because I left some water droplets on the leaves and they got burnt but I don't know. Either way I'd say she'll be alright but maybe just a bit slower than the others. Again, advice on this is appreciated.

Ok first post and ends with two questions
Ok, so new to this.
I’ve set up a cupboard grow with two autopots with res sitting in adjoining cupboard door (if that makes sense)
I’ve got a 130w led on one side for veg and I’ve got a 300w UFO on the other side for flowering.I’m using:
aqua flakes
Professor nutrients grow fast, go green, go roots
Canna ok 13-14
And honeyNutrient strength is 1/4th
This is the first grow so I’m sure this will have a few issues.
I’m in flower now one one side (going purple)
I’ve just started the veg of the other side (autopot isn’t on I’m hand watering once weekly) -

Caramelicious and cheese autos
Hi every one growing caramelicious and cheese autos from msnl seeds. Am in the illawarra and am using a greenhouse for warmth and got a great spot where the plants recieve direct light for at least 7hours a day. Plants poked their heads up on 5th of Feb. Everything was going well untill a large storm flipped my green house and all but one plant the large healthy one was left in its pot the others were thrown 5 meters away and lost half there roots in the process. They suffered stress but seem to be on the mend I had to tip the cheese plant because the main cola stem was coming out pure white not ideal as it just begun to transition to bud stage. Be interesting to see the yeild different between the stressed 2 and the healthy one. They should be ready to harvest by the end of April. Ill put up dated photos on weekly. Hope yous enjoy

train plant
Any suggestions welcome
planted 7/1/18, so almost 4 weeks old in photo
Training plants to grow main trunk horizontal.
Not sure which would provide faster or bigger yields, topping or training?Lessons learn so far.
Dont over water, now keeping to the 1day fertilizer 1/4 strength, 1 day water, 1 day no water.
Plants love lots of light but hate hot weather, now in shade most of day.
Bugs love these plants (aphids), Neem oil twice a week with weak solution to kill off. -

With Neoseiulus Californicus predatory mites, better air movement and humidity control and aspirin in the nutes, my Broad mite infection is mostly under control although yields, particularly from the Swazi Gold sativa landrace clones look like they're going to be poor.
http://https//imgur.com/a/7K650 for details or on my reddit growlog. I'll finish this grow and think seriously about next steps. I'm tempted to burn this lot and start again but I know that I'm at risk of reinfection with BM no matter what I do - so we'll see how much yield I get from the scrog. The mother plants in veg are all still showing mild infection and I'm finding it almost impossible to clone the Swazi Gold although my 2 bagseed clones seem to take without much trouble.
The mini-hempy buckets made with 2L milk jugs are turning out pretty well - the main 5L hempy scrog is going to be more productive than 3 of the small ones - they're about 1.6L after the top of the 2L plastic milk jug is cut off. 2" perlite below a drain hole then filled with pure coco. The plants like them a lot once the roots get down to the perlite DWC zone.
