Cannabis Grow Rooms

About to buy more lights and was thinking of getting one of the new LED grow light and try it out. is there any buddy who has used them. I have a limited power in the grow room and if it works I would be able to have more light and not have to get some one to rewire the Box. All so I would save on AC in the summer. Right now it is winter and It is nice to have the space heater of a self balisted light. Any imput would be nice

HI Fellow Growers,, Im setting up my first grow room , and wanted to know whats the best type/make of metal halide bulb/globe for growing the best buds with the best light spectrum during veg state,, are they like hps which have various types of lights with various spectrum's or are all MH the same ,, I already have a 600w phillips sont T agro plus for the flowering stage,, Thanks for your advice

I'm thinking of hooking up some ducting to a small wall vent to outside. It's an old plaster vent about 0.25mx0.15m, the problem is about half the area is covered by plaster so I need a fan with enough power to vent a 2mx2mx1.5m tent with 600w hps during summer with 20-35 average outside temp. I'll use a cooltube so it won't need to go thru a filter first and i'll turn off lights during the day. The house is a rental so i can't put holes in the wall but it's an old house so a bit of damage is ok if it can be painted over. I also need a way to attach the ducting to the wall and it's 3m off the ground thanks for any advice.

i was hopping to be able to run 150mm ducting from fresh air along 6mt and than split it into two, 1 150mm going though a 600watt cool tube the other into a grow box , than duct the two togeather out the other side back through 150mm duct along 4mt to a 200mm 220l/sec fan that will be blowing into a odor sok or can33-can66 ( ihavent made up my mind on that yet) . so if you can understand this and know a bit about these thing i would love to hear from you . thanks

where should i go to get hold of fluoro lamps dont want to go to a hydro shop.

Is anyone using the larger twin lamp cooltubes? as any info or recomendations would be excellent! Seeming the hotter weather will be on it's way soon and I was going to get another 150mm fan I thought I might as well look into cooltubes! hey all, I'll soon be planting my seeds for my first grow and was just wondering should I have the lights on 24/0 before the plants emerge from the ground, or wait until I can see the stem? high_hoper

could anyone please tell me what size odro sok or metal canister fillter i will need for a grow room 2x2x2 . 4 plants under 600w digital super lume ballast . also what size and type of fan it will need to pull though about 2-3mt ducting.. thks..

Recently i have been snooping around the ballast market comparing prices and reading propaganda in the hopes of coming to a definite conclusion. so i thort it would be fitting to post the questions i cant find answers to here. Does a digital ballast run significantly cooler compared to the standard ballasts ? Do the digital ballasts work with all bulbs ? yes i know it can be used for a MH or HPS due to microprocessors, im referring to the bulbs life span and start up strike. ( cheap ones vs expensive ones) Currently im using fluros but i want to get myself a MH and an HPS and when i heard that a digital ballast can run both bulbs i thort well heres a winner.......til…

Hi everybody.....Ok ive grown sucessfully under floros an HPS as they both have there advantages an disadvantages. I want to try a combination of both, the HPS lights i want to use are a lower wattage than the ones sold in your hydro shops about 50 to 80 watts with 45 watt compact florescent lights arround the sides havent decided on the number of bulbs yet. My problem is i cant seem to locate a HPS light at such a low wattage. In the USA or even Europe you can pick up 50 to 80 watt security lights with HPS bulbs in them ive had a brouse at Bunings threw there lighting section an didnt see anything all there security lighting seems to be halogen i didnt ask anyone there t…
