Digital Ballasts

My digi ballast just says '400W HID bulbs' and has no exterior switch nor can it be opened easily.

i have a 400 W digital ballast , HPS only , its at least quarter the temp of the same digital ballast , i hung it inside a cab in summer

sounds sketchy.....houses burning down and all of that......fuck it, sell it, get a digital one

 

I just had my second JB 600 burnout and I mean burn out , melted plugs etc nearly set fire to everything , was sitting on some nft gully to keep it of the floor , well it melted the shit out of the gully and toxic fumed the plants in the process , I will convert everything over to Digital ballasts for sure .

I use a Lumatek 400w Digital ballast. I got an older style one origionaly but it fucked my fuse up, and looking back, the extra $150 was worth it, they enable you to push 10% more output out of an HPS, so in saying that, you would make your money back in one harvest.

I'm almost prepared to sacarfice an old bulb, but I don't want to sacrafice the hous one night. Maybe things will run fine for ages.. then burn down?

 

All I can think of is to send an email to the albite and ask them what the go is. The part number is clear as a bell, so no question what ballast I'll be discussing witht hem. I just thought I'd run it past you guys first. I knpw the switchable ones, I used to have one. I gave it away. That's why this is so weird to me. Nothing at all on any side, not even underneath. weird huh?
