Ballast/Light NOT WORKING!

Try leaving it turned off for 10 - 15 mins then try it again. Often they won't come on again straight after they were turned off. Some will eventually arc again if you leave them on some won't. I don't know why.

They get hot and are self regulating. They won't turn on until they cool down.

ballast is only a couple of months old but it has only been used for around 2 months i think, so not very long at all. it is the growlush one which is green and gold. bulb is also growlush.

just left the ballast on for 1/2 hour to see if the globe might start, still nothing.

 

thanks for the reply guys, im gonna get a bulb tomorrow and see if that was the problem

yeah light wont come on till they cool down wont ignite again until it does will just make a clicking sound

MIGHT also be the capacitor in the ballast . But check the bulb first .

bought a new bulb today and the setup is up and running again

and never turn your light on then straight off, let it warm up forst then switch it off i guess.

worse still is turning it off then straight back on and off then on then off
