Hi gents,anyone know where to purchase a hi par controller in USA..You pay through the ring hole to get them here.. attrocious prices.compared to say a gavita controller here 800 bills and there under 300 In US..we are getting ripped.. I cant seem to find anywhere when google .it keeps coming up with oz sites. Cheers max

Hi All, I have the 8" phresh fan with the speed controlling dial. When the lights are off I have been manually dropping the fan speed and increase the speed when they are on. Does any electronic gurus or aussie ingenuity gurus have any ideas for a way I can have the dial turned (with a servo or something similar) to change speeds! Any ideas or links for a simple idea to do this would be unreal! Thanks in advance!

Howdy all, I’m thinking of investing in a tent set up. 1x1x1.8 with a 600w mh/hps lamp. Simple question for ventilation / light choice; Is it sufficient to have a standard reflector with a good quality centrifugal fan for cooling / air flow or does a 600w in that small a tent absolutely require an air cooled reflector? Alternatively is 600w to extreme for the size tent? I figured I’d buy a 600w now in case I get a larger tent at a later time Any suggestions or comments welcomed. Also has anyone had experience with Greenfingers tents? Seems ok for the price.

Hey guys So im trying to find some information on if the wattage of lights is more = better yeild or more = bigger area? Basically my situation is this: I have a teeny grow tent (2x3ft) and im using a 900w meizhi LED light (draws 450w). I got as much light as possible in the thinking that more light = more buds. Im wondering is that the case? Will i theoretically get a larger yeild from a 900w than a 300w which will still give me enough coverage. Temps are dine with the 900w. Im also thinking with a lower wattage the plants can get closer to the lights giving me more vertical grow space even though the meizhi website reccomends the same distance for each wattage. So may…

Hi Guys, Seeking experience in using the blauberg range of duct fans specifically the "turbo 100" I need a quiet and reliable exhaust fan to vent my 0.6m x 0.6m x 1.6m mini grow tent. It will need to pull through a carbon filter (Im looking towards a phresh filter) and a few meters of ducting. There won't be much heat generated as its a led grow. Hey guys I have a brand new grow tent in the box its 1.5 x 1.5 x 2M. Ive got an extraction fan, carbon filter and ducting sorted but I need to purchase a light.. Leds interest me obviously because of the low cost to run them but I see alot about them giving small yields. Would a 300w led be enough for 2 plants in a tent that size? Even if i had to later put in another light for flower or something open to any advice as its my first ever indoor grow. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Does anyone on here use viparspectra LED's for veg and flower? Plenty of reviews out there but mostly in conjunction with HPS or multiple large 600's etc I am thinking either the 450w dual spec or the new 300w (with more red light spectrum). Seeking advice for a small tent grow 1-2 plants in a 60 x 60 footprint will be fighting hot temps so I dont think HPS will be ideal.

I got my hlg65 today. Minor assembly required. Not exactly sure how this fitting works. I guess i have to press the white plastic and imsert wires, but not sure. It looks very fragile and worried about breaking it. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Can someone point me in the direction of the light grow room calculator .. I remember there was one on the site at some point, but be blowed if i can find it anywhere. I want to know if a 400w HPS will be too much for a 90x50x160cm tent, I'll probably need a cooltube as well.

Just got a cool tube for my 315w lec because temps were getting up to 30-34c but now I kinda feel I’ve lost some light intensity, should I keep tube or persist with high temps ? Appreciate any advice,

Hey Guys I'm just starting out and trying to decide the best path to travel, on my own growing adventure. I was hoping to ask some advice from people who have experience with LEDs. In particular their thoughts on citizen clu048 VS cree cxb3590? I'm looking to light a cupboard 800W x 500D x 1800H. I'm a pretty hands on kinda dude, so DIY LEDs and such, are my jam!
