New meizhi cree LED's

type in: "meizhi cree" into ebay to see ad.

 

These look like a take on the mars cree 3590 setup but with a smaller cree chip.

 

they look damn tempting for the prices:

 

$150 for the single unit < i think they're around 100w

$250 for the double unit

 

Anyone tried these yet? Opinions from just looking at the ebay ad?

Not sure mate but the umol par output at 18” is low when comparing the mars. Not strong enough light output I reckon.

I wouldn’t get a cheap LED if you are going to flower, veg should be fine. Flower not so much just what I have seen

Realistically led for flower you need quantum boards or cobs. For anything meaningful yield wise

Agreed. I use the vipars for Veg then hps for flower. MLG

I veg with my old vipars too mate, decent for veg.
