Grow tent lighting advice?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys I have a brand new grow tent in the box its 1.5 x 1.5 x 2M. Ive got an extraction fan, carbon filter and ducting sorted but I need to purchase a light.. Leds interest me obviously because of the low cost to run them but I see alot about them giving small yields. Would a 300w led be enough for 2 plants in a tent that size? Even if i had to later put in another light for flower or something open to any advice as its my first ever indoor grow.

Dont waste money on cheap leds... to cover that area intensely with leds would cost $1000+ check out rapidled.com for cobs or horticulturelightinggroup.com for quantum board kits and fixtures...

If you dont want to outlay on a decent led, then as pedro said a 1000w hps or 2 × 600w hps would cover that area best, just dont get magnetic ballasts, they literally eat power [emoji23][emoji23]
