Anyone have any ideas how to get rid of ants in my soil. Pot was outside for a while and ants nested in dry potting mix. Once i got my clone inside i noticed small black ants. I have tried submerging pot in a bucket of water for 1 hour and that has done nothing. Then i changed the potting mix and used the new pot but there must of been some eggs left around the roots because this new potting mix few days after is again full of them Any suggestions? Hi, I’m desperately needing some help, I have found these spots on my clone and my seedlings, also upon inspecting I have found on the underside of the leaf this little nest looking thing with white eggs underneath the brown fuzzy stuff! Are these moth eggs?? I’ve never seen these before. And I’m also wondering if by the spots on the leaves is this a deficiency? Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

I live on the mid north coast NSW and grow medicinal for my son. We have had a heap of rain this year and one of my Northern lights got collar rot and fell over the other has serious bud rot which gets worse every day. Still just a little early to cut down but that might be the only way i can save some bud. Anyone else having the same problem?

Hey guys and gals, I'm still noticing a few white specks on my leaves and some spider mites hiding on the underside (little fuckers). My plants have just started to show their sex and I'm wondering what to use to get rid of the mites. Is neem cool to use at very early stages of flower? Should I even bother? Only the odd few mites, no webs. It's an outdoor grow and I've noticed a few ladybugs on the plants, I don't want to piss them off with any nasty sprays or DE really. I'll wack some pics up in the morning. Thanks in advance....

Hi guys, Been lurking for a while, but finally decided to register. My first ever grow over here in oz and all seemed to be going well. I'm growing 3 photos (from seed) outdoors in raised beds, my plants are about 6 weeks old and 2 of the 3 have just started to show some really funky new growth. I don't know whether it is some kind of pest or stress from all the rain we have just had (150-200mm in 2 nights). Any help from you guys would be great. Cheers

Hi, This is popped up in my tent on one plant, now it is on 2 to 3 leaves on 4 out of 6 plants. I'm fairly sure it is mould. The reason is I bought a bag of compost and it had white mould in it. I was told all was okay and just to mix it back in as that is normal for some compost to get a form of mould but it is good fungi. Two days after transplanting I noticed a white spot on one leaf, I gently cut it off and threw it away, the next morning, more, and now even more. It's obviously spreading. This is in my veg tent and I have my flowering tent next to it. Can I get confirmation that this is mould, how to treat it organically, and could the soil is really been the c…

Hi Everyone, I have been a way for a few days and noticed today that i have somewhat of a pest problem with an auto. Outdoors Perlite / Coco medium Drain to waste Plant seems healthy enough and has been in flower for 3-4 weeks. Please see attached photo from underside of a leaf i removed. There are 4-5 leave like this. I have manually removed what i can. Would be great if someone could identify each bug for my own knowledge and best way to kill them. The plant will be made to butter for pain relief medication and perhaps oil if i learn how to do it. Cheers in advance guys and gals.

Hey crew I have 2 plants (diff strains ) in a 100L dwc One plant has slowly turned yellow over the last 2 weeks - less bud development and not looking good while the other is lush and green! Any ideas ? I suppose this is why I’ve decided to stop dwc or I should have seperate containers as I’ve got two different strains ... think ones a cream and cheese and the other I got off a mate not sure . Anyone used this brand peroxide to water plants to kill fungus gnats larvae ? Not sure what ratio to use in a 10L can ! Not sure what's going on with the lower stem of this A1 Auto, my guess would be it's damping off??? I am using Canna terra professional for the first time and I have found it quite heavy and dense so I will add some extra perlite next time around, I am watering every 4 to 5 days when the pot seems to be light. The plants are in there 5th week and are just showing their first pistols. The White widow Auto next to it is doing well, both germinated at the same time, other than that the plant still looks healthy but has been a bit slow. Any advice would be great.

Poor Super Skunk is not growing like her sisters. I just thought i may have messed up something, but there is like heaps of these ugly little things jumping in the soil, so to get a photo i but a yellow sticky to capture them ? a thrip ? maybe they would be on the plant usually though? Google around and it could be them, maybe in a pupa or something, anyone else had them ? I got neem eco meem form bunnings, hopefully that wont affect the BTi from the Gnatrol in the soil.
