Please identify bugs and best way to kill em all

Hi Everyone,

I have been a way for a few days and noticed today that i have somewhat of a pest problem with an auto.

Outdoors

Perlite / Coco medium

Drain to waste

Plant seems healthy enough and has been in flower for 3-4 weeks.

 

Please see attached photo from underside of a leaf i removed.

There are 4-5 leave like this.

I have manually removed what i can.

Would be great if someone could identify each bug for my own knowledge and best way to kill them.

 

The plant will be made to butter for pain relief medication and perhaps oil if i learn how to do it.

Thrips maybe?

Neem oil would probably knock em on the head.

 

I've only been growing for 2 years so I'm not 100% as so far I've only had fungus gnats.

 

Someone who will know for certain should be along soon.

Also, the 2 large larvae grubs I see in your pic look like they are feasting on the aphids.

 

A google search seems to confirm they are hover fly larvae which are beneficial :

I'm at exactly the same stage as you with a couple of autos too. If you have a bunnos nearby, get some econeem and a sprayer. The sprayer you can get us a nylex 360 which allows you to spray upside down which is great as you need to get under the leaves. I mixed 2ml per litre and so far it's worked well. Repeat application after 2 or 3 days. A few of the fellas here suggested it when I had a similar problem.

Thanks Bubba, Sugar and MLG.
I will go get some Neem Oil today and treat.

I killed the 2 larvae thinking they were caterpillars as i have had a few on the plant....
It seems to be only the 1 plant effected. The 2 other plants in soil have no issue.

Appreciate everyone's help.

Yates pyrethrum works great for Aphids and other bugs 

 

never used neem, never heard of it till I got on here

Neem oil is organic and good for use against critters that bite the plant and doesn't hurt worms, bees etc so is a good systemic use on foliage and soil particularly if using for meds.

Econeem is already pre mixed and available from bunnos for about $22 for 100ml.
