Hi to all, I'm a first time grower, just joined ur site a few days ago. Very Informative! A Really positve Feel. Very Refreshing!! I run a 4 tub sattelite recycling system using coco peat as my medium & coco canna nutrients, im in 3rd week of bloom. I have a prob tho: Fungus Gnats! I noticed them about 4 weeks ago, Ive used an Azardaractin drench twice already + confidor once a week, the pots are fully covered with plastic, i use oxyplus regularly, i flush every week, the res temp is 21c, room temp at 26-27c. I'm still finding the dead adults & larvae in the resevoir!! They aren't getting out at all from under the plastic but the little bastards are still bree…

my white rhino plants are starting to turn yellow :thumbdown the damage starts at the top of the plants where the most light is being absorbed which could really hurt my yield if i dont get this problem fixed soon the leaf starts to go a lighter green colour than the lower leaves, then the tips start going yellow, working its way to the stem then the leaf just falls off when touched :thumbdown i have been advised to buy some cannazyme by my mate but i would prefer to get multiple opinions on what the problem could be and how to fix it before i fork out any cash just incase the cannazyme is a waste of time to me... thanks in advance, lets just hope i can save thi…

Hi one and all, have had a recent infestation of scarid fly and am about to spray with pyrethrum as suggested here. The surviving baby is 2 mths old and looks terrible. I remember reading on a thread here that you should put some in with your nutes to attack them from within, but was unable to find any recommendation as to the strength. Can anyone help? :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup I have been plauged with spidermite over the years, but the last few crops I havent seen any and the product I use is called OMITE and it is out standing for killing spidermite I have over the years tried every thing, nothing comes close for the shear killing power to spidermites than this product if used correctly I use 1/2 a gram to 1 liter of water to start with for small plants up untill they have at leasrt 5to 6 nodes then use 1gram to 1liter of water when they are older, with a couple of drops of dish washing liquid I stress a couple of drops to 1 liter and srart spraying plants when they are in the seedling stage at least 3 to 4 wee…

Hey all , just hope someone can answer this cuz there are heaps of the little buggers all over my plant, there ususally on the underside of the leaf but not always and there putting little white dots over the leaves there sitting on... Just hope someone knows what they are, and what would be the easiest way to get rid of em... Cheers

I'm growing in a disused house (with power!!) and a mouse has managed to get into my grow box and has cut down two of my bonzai (M.J.) plants by chewing through the bottom of the stems! If you're growing in a garage, shed or an unused house, get a cat or a snake or you could use poison. But don't use poison if you have pets because if they eat poisoned rodents, they get poisoned too.

:angry: today I discovered heaps of , what looks like tiny , baby flies crawling all over my buds. They dont look like gnats or thrips, just liitle flies. I painfully removed them all & moved the plant & found hundreds of dead ones on the floor . And more flying around the light . They havent been eating away at the plant luckily.but i'm still concerned about the final product , will it be alright ot smoke? I have a crappy little set up for one little plant & I have an organic pellet fertilizer top coating , could they just be flies breeding in the dung on the top? Hello stoners. Still trying to sort out this bug prob of me mates. Does anyone have any pics of scarid fly larvae? These little critters seem to have two little snail like eyes/antenae and jump across the surface of the water, and are white in colour. He has placed sticky traps across the top of the medium(clay balls) but has had no adults fly into it yet and has seen no adults buzzing around. Any help would be greatly appreciated before some chemicals are used.

I have been watching the lower fan leafs geting worse and the slight yellowing all over . I'm using canna nutes 1/3 strength for my bubblers and the ph is on 5.5 to 6. i don't know any thing else. any thoughts guys, thanks.

Hey stoners, just been to see me mate as he has had a wierd problem hes never seen before and its got me stumped too. In his res/brain(same) tank he has these little white worm like bugs(very very small) that skim across the surface of the water the same way that mosquito larvae does.I guess the only difference is that these are ON the surface and not below like mozzies. Anybody know?
