This is yet one more Soil Mixing tutorial. This one is going to focus on making a batch in the city while keeping it neat and tidy. First we use a tarp and a sheet of plywood under so the shovel will slide easily as we mix and scoop. This was created over 35 years of soil growing and blows away any method I have tried. Hydro growers that swap over never switch back to water. Here is the recipe to make this concentrate! You cannot grow plants directly in this super concentrate! 8 Bags Roots soil or equivalent high quality supped up grow soil 25 pounds Pure Worm Castings ½ cup Azomite trace minerals 2/3 Cup Sweet Lime IE Dolomite 1 Kilo Bone meal / IE 5 Pounds 1 Kilo Bl…

I have only just started using the Bunning's Brick Coco. Previous to this I have always used pre buffered Coco. This is what I started to do with the Brick Coco and 7 weeks in I really cant tell the difference between the $35 Bag of Canna Coco i have used for the last 10 years and the $2 Brick Stuff I'm using now. 1. Put the Bricks in a large pot with drain holes and pour 2 Jugs of Boiling Water to make it expand for about 10 minutes. 2. I flood it with Tap water (0.25 EC) around 4 or 5 times until the run off becomes clear. I don't bother getting the PH of the water right. I estimate I put through around 20 liters of water to get to this point. 3. I mix up 2 m…

Hey guys. I'm a bit confused as to which form of Canna I should get. I'll just be growing in soil, using normal water, indoor, hopefully using just the canna to feed them (and some PK13-14 later) Initially I thought the Terra would be the right choice but after reading the Canna site I'm thinkint the Substra... but everyone here seems to say the substra is for rockwool etc not ordinary soil Any thoughts?

Hey guys. Just setup an ebb and flow table hybrid. Basically a table with a lid that net pots go into and the roots grow into no medium on the table so they can spread right out. I've grown with general hydroponics couple years ago but they are now not so available and expensive. I had most of their line I'm just looking to keep it simple this time, Australian made, no PGR, simple to keep ph stable. Not stupid expensive and readily available. Have been looking at sensi pro and also floramax/flairform Can you experts shed any light? Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Fairly new grower and i have read a bit of material on google regarding mixing fertiliser but cant seem to wrap my head around it. I use a liquid fert through Veg which is a 10.2:1 ratio and has seemed to work good. I am now in flower and want to add extra P and K in the mix while diluting the Veg liquid Fert to a nitrogen value of 1-2. I have liquid Potash that doesn't have a ratio but says 4% Phosphorus and 20% Potassium. If i was two mix the two and dilute the Veg ferts would i be able to achieve a ratio of 1.4:20 roughly? I could probably hunt down a fert that does flower at the right ratio just curious as it would come in handy being able to mix different parts to ac…

First indoor grow. ✌️

I'm using osmocote plus organics and vermiculite in the soil, just not sure what to feed it when it comes into flowering time, I really only have Bunnings that I can go to. Can someone please drop me some photos of some nutrients they know of from Bunnings that'll work during my flowering period. Seeds root shot out after 3 days of being in a paper towel. The seeds now in the soil with a cut plastic bottle over it with a 100w cod led light above it. This will be days 3 in soil and no sign of anything so far. I have auto BlackBerry's from fast buds. ✌️

So I grow in perlite/coco and have a new 100% perlite grow coming up. Bottled pk seems expensive so if added on bottled recommendations I'd be getting a new bottle every grow. Are there any cheaper non bottled pk alternatives? Something I could get from bunnos which I could still mix up in my feeding tub with the other nutes? Yeah I know it's a bit of a crap choice but with my employment looking shaky it's time to tighten things up. Anybody ever had and decent success with Bunnings nutes? The Manutec hydro range looks decent enough, probably just need to research the contents so you can dial back the N during flowering and pump the PK. But it looks like it can be done pretty easily on a low budget with their range. And maybe just add seasol as a folair and soil tonic. 3.5 weeks into my very first grow at the moment. Using the Biodiesel range with 2 autos in coco. I don't really have anything to compare it to but I'm pretty sure that the sensi pro is working very fuckin well. Would love t…

What’s everyone put into there plants once flowering kicks off, seen what some people use in threads but coming back to the same question is high phosphorus a necessity as a lot of people seem to opt for just high potassium Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

I've got 6 cuttings I'd like to experiment with indoors under LED. Interested to trial Canna Terra Pro (CTP) in pots, hand watered. Who has used CTP here for a few grows that can give me some advice ? Things like plastic vs cloth pots: watering frequency: whether need to PH every watering /feed, or if CTP buffers ok using their A and B brand nutes ? Any gnat problems ? Need to add extra perlite? Any calcium/magnesium issues similar to Coco ? Any other disadvantages of the medium versus soil ? Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hey all thought this may be of interest to some people maybe. Found this study in a thread over at icmag it seems to show there is no change in the nutrient levels within the plant during the flushing period, they also found no increase in production when plants were fed during the usual flush period. So no need to flush the shit out of plants, also no need to pump them with nutrients during flush time. Just give them water according to your normal watering regime for the flush weeks. https://atrium.lib.uoguelph.ca/xmlui/bitstream/handle/10214/12125/Stemeroff_Jonathan_201712_Msc_with_erratum.pdf?sequence=8&isAllowed=y icmag thread https://www.icmag.com/ic/sho…
