HI folks Im just about to go from my Veg stage to flower and was wonder wats the best way to reduce the amount of light ,, I was thinking of gradualy reducing the time by 1 hour a day ,, or is this not needed and can i just go from 18 hours light on to 12 hours light on ,, Whats the best way as im about to start flowering ,, any advice would be greatley appriciated G-Man

Hi all, Having feverishly read through this site (and others) over the last few weeks I've decided it's time to man-up and get growing my own slice of green heaven. Hi All, have just joined here and i am a uk420 member . Hoping someone on here has grown HDF at some point and can give me a feeding regime guide for them .i am growing in compost and feeding with bio bizz, now in the 4th week of flower and the main cola is huge already- 15 inches- but it is threatening to outgrow the room. had a bit of universal yellowing of the fan leaves and cut out the bloom for a couple of feeds and doubled the grow to 2ml per litre,and seems to be settling down a bit.Any tips would be helpful,cheers. Howdy - I'm on my 2nd grow and am having all sorts of bother with the plants this time compared to last time and was hoping someone could shed some light? My setup is in a shed (I'm in South Australia) , and I've got two plants going with 2x600 watts on each one. I'm 45 weeks into flower, and the plants are looking really 2nd rate. The heads are at least a third down on the last batch and I'm using the same techniques, lights & chemicals as the last batch - the only things that are different are: Temperature - we've had some stinking days and are heading fore more - I've got a great extractor fan and am running a room fan to circulate the air as well, but does temp…

Hey all I`ve been wondering how people manipulate their plants to get those awesome red and purple colors out of their buds ......i know there`s strains that grow naturally like this, but i remember reading something about adjusting the PH and root temp to get the same psychedelic effect..... Hello - I'm not only a first-timer here, but also a first-time grower. I'm growing a couple of plants outdoors in the sun, in large pots. They're doing really well, so far. (10 weeks old) I have a problem with nosey neighbours, however, and wondered about pruning the plants to keep them low. HI folks Im on my 5th week of veg , i notice my plants are getting quite bush from the lower end ,, i havnt trimmed/cut off any branches yet ,, Should i be ?? and if so how do i know which ones to cut off,,whats best practice ,,,and if i need to cut ,, do i need to apply anything onto cut area of plant or will clean razor sharp cutters be fine enuff ,, ill try to get pics up soon Thanks in advance for any help G-Man

hey im on my first grow and im 1month and 19 days into flowering the top cola is getting almost as big as a pop can the thing is that ive taken some of the smaller bud just to taste it ( i just couldnt wait) and i foud a seed in them ??? wtf a darn seed it was with i started flowering with 3 plant 2 of them ended up male si ui cuted them asap and the female showed her sex almost 3 or 4 days after i cuted away the male no flower on the femel while the male where present and now i found a seed is she gonna turn into seeds if i wait to long should i harvest her now to keep the seed count down ??????

Oh hai all. Apologies if this has already come up. I understand most timers dont allow this but has any experimentation been done with non 24 hour grow cycles. Anybody with personal experience or know of documentation of such an experiment on the www MaccaSpesh, the best weed you'll never smoke.

So i just read a thread before which involved a vertical scrog, thinking to myself "there's no point having the light above, you would need it on the side of the plant". Well it got me thinking and this is what sprang to mind, since i am useless with microsoft paint i am going to try and explain, though i'm not much better at the latter either. here's the plan... this is for one plant but can be applied to up to 4 plants i would say, possibly more for larger wattage lights. you would need a lazy susan, remember those spinning plates at home a small sized motor that could run off 5v or so. simple idea really, you would sit the pot on top of the lazy susan. Hello Fellow Farmers,, Im in the 3rd week of veg from seeds and have been using the bio buzz range of ferts fro about 2 weeks now i have just repoted from 4 inch to larger pots about 2 days ago and was wondering if i should be considering flushing the plants with just plain water and if so how ??? ,, my understanding of flushing in soil is to drench the soil with at least 3-4 times the volume of water as to soil ie 1 liter pot to be flushed with 4 liter of water and left to drain for about 5 - 10 mins to remove any harmfull buildups then back to the ferts again ,, ,, or do you water then with plain water for a few days then back to the ferts ????? or should i not both…
