I agree with the above statement but if you have no experience gardening you should really do some research.

CFL's are great if used properly, if not your going to be disappointed. perlite/coco is also a good mix but I would recommend soil and perlite as its much more forgiving.

 

Are you looking for perpetual harvest?

you have a small cupboard what size?

what type of yield/turnaround do you want?

how much in the budget?

under good condition you will average .5g per watt(Ie: 250w Hps = 125 grams)

im confused....so if im using a 600wtt luminus will my turn around be .5gms to 600wt. so like...300gms???

also do i need more than one 600 wtt for 3 plants or can i get away with 2 x 400wtts which one is oging to be best as i need a high yeild and quick turn around...money doesnt bother me but i dont want huge heat.
