Pruning

Hello - I'm not only a first-timer here, but also a first-time grower.

 

I'm growing a couple of plants outdoors in the sun, in large pots. They're doing really well, so far. (10 weeks old)

I have a problem with nosey neighbours, however, and wondered about pruning the

plants to keep them low. Could someone please give me some advice on how and when

and where to prune my "babies"?

LST, Low Stress Training, could possibly be a way to go....

Have to agree with Rose Gardner "LST ". just stake the tops with a stick and string to the ground and let it grow out instead of up.

pruning is BAD during flowering.

u dont wanna prune using a screen may be an option, even a screen around your plant with thick clear plastic.....lst is ok but time consuming, if the neigbours notice you out there every day they may get sus....the other option is anthrax cookies delivered to your neighbours door...

Take it with a grain of salt but I've heard if you hold off the water a little bit the plants will be a little easier when you bend them, that is if you do go for the LST option. This is one of those great moments in your grow where you can learn for the next one, maybe build a little mesh screen where you wanna plant the plants and next time you can have a good screen of green going. You'd be amazed with the difference in yield it can produce.
