Mate of mine told me if you take your plants and place the roots on a mango (or something like that) in soil, the weed will have a mango flavour (or whatever fruit you use) He swears it's true, but for the life of me I can't imagine why that would work... anyone know anything?

I'm interested in some suggestions in regards to flushing my WR, I have had the nutes at 1.5 - 1.6 for nearly two weeks now and I am due for a res change. I've read a few differing opinions on flushing between res's and am not sure whether to flush at all, flush with a low EC level nute batch or flush with PH adjusted water. Also how long do I flush for? Should I just run the flush through for a couple of ten minute feeds or for a whole day? Jimbo

Desperate help needed. Plant is about eight weeks old, still in veg, she was topped at about three weeeks and growing well. When i tried to open her up to let the light get to the inside stalks i bloody split her wide open, in two. Now ive since wrapped and tied a bead of dry sillicone around the stalks my big question to you my fellow growers is will she live????

this is my first time to grow a plant and i dont know where to start. i have a few questions that i hope you guys can help me. im planning to start at 2 seeds first and ill be planting it indoors. is it alright if it doesnt get direct sunlight that much? im living on an apartment and my windows are facing like north east so i dont get direct sunlight that much but my ventilation will be good enough for he plant to breath since im living on the 2nd floor and i can open the windows 24hrs. will there be any problem during the flowering stage? and why do most of the topics that i read that they discard males? does that mean they throw it or is it still "smokable"? i understan…

Hello peoples i have bought a set up which includes a 120*120*200 grow tent 2 fans an carbon filters i am going to use canna coco fiber 50 litre bag In 15 litre pots with clay pebbles at the bottom with Canna A/B feed.I will be using 600w hps lighting i used a nft system before and it was ok but people keep telling me coco fibre .I know this is cheeky but can some1 please tell me if that setup sounds ok????? plus i need to know what ph levels an cf levels i should be running at??? please guys.I am using Blueberry seeds from dutch passion can i put them straight into the pots?????or shall i put them into rockwool and then transfere them into the coco fibre after a couple o…

hey guys and girls, another question - i've asked if it is at all possible to decrease the period it takes for any particular strain to flower. i was advised that it was strain dependent, however i've heard otherwise. i grow in 10% perlite and 90%coco - the strain i'm growing is white widow by dutch passion and it recommends an 8 week flowering time. mine are in theie 9th week and look like they have another week left. i was wondering if any of these factors below can increase flowering speed: The method of growing - eg. if i moved from coco to clay balls 100% hydro setup (because they are getting more frequent watering (and more oxygen) instead of once every 24 hrs) …

Hi people ... newbie here (I have had some experience in hydro a while ago) I have read an awful lot of topics about aeroponics here and on other sites. (it's taken me 2 weeks to read up ) I still have a couple of questions so far, and maybe more later on 1. Are the sprayers run on 30 sec on and 3 minutes off, or 1 minute on and 5 minutes off.. I have seen both .. is there a difference? 2. Once the plant is switched to 12/12 for flowering, do you leave the sprayer cycle on the same as above, or turn them off for the dark period .. or something else ?? 3. Ok so ive been reading about this scrog method and iam keen to have a go at it. Have read varying data on the height placement of the screen from 200mm to 500mm. Is there a specific height for the screen ? what height do you use ? Room size 1m x 1.9 x 1.7high, if that matters in the equation. cheers

Hi guy's, What are your thoughts and views on people putting other drugs such as amphetamines/herion etc into their grows. Me personally think it is a crock of shit and here's why (taken from another post....saves me retyping): Why would you inject amphetamines into a growing plant? Wouldn't the injection cause necrosis of the cells at the injection site due to its' unnatural composition' (PH etc)? Please explain how the plant would metabolise the amphetamine and convert the active ingredients into the plant structure?
