Hi guys So i was having a discussion with another grower friend of mine , about establishing mother plants for cloning. He was telling me that you should only use reg seeds, sex them and then use the strongest fem as your mother. Because he seems to think that if you clone off a feminised seed the resulting clones would be hermaphrodite..... I have two mothers from different seed companies that are both from fem seeds and have done two lots of cuttings off each mother , out of 20 or so clones every one rooted and was female. No signs of hermies at all.... So i guess what i want to know is.... Does anyone have any experience with getting hermaphrodites from cloning fem s…

Im looking for some advice on drying Harvest for me is in 3 weeks. Im living in WA so its a hot dry climate. I can only dry in my shed and no way to really control temp in there. Hi Guys, Am nearing ready to go - have some fem incredible bulk seeds and room all set with some CMH lights. What do you guys suggest for a set up for seed raising? Am thinking along lines of: 1 - small tent 2 - 2x CFL lights 3 - heat mat 4 - small ? 4in exhaust fan, passive intake, no filter am I best running lights, heat mat and extraction fan 24/7 while raising seeds? Plan for once raised for early veg throwing them under a 315w CMH light which I already have - just thought they'd raise better and be a bit more efficient under a smaller light - otherwise would you guys just run what i've got under a 315w for raising? Will they recover??? Baby bassicly topped and one side of fan lwaves and growth gone!! Im looking for some seriouse help will these babys recover? My baby got "topped" by the drop and losf afew fan leaves and stems down one side, my other one copped a beating on some fan leaves aswell, damage is in following pjctures, any advice? Hey y'all!! I have 6 beans...all sprouted except one but it's only been three days... All were started in Jiffy pellets and under the propagator dome. I've only lifted the dome off to check on them as the condensation stops me looking inside to see if the pellets are dry or not. I want to transplant the Jiffys directly into pots but don't know how long I should wait. First set of real leaves? A certain height? All advice is gratefully appreciated. Cheers!! :-)

Hi all, After a couple of failed seedlings my first plant has entered the flowering phase a week or so ago, and I was hoping for some advice and guidance on the flowering stage. Firstly my setup; I am growing outdoors and the seed was planted directly into a pot filled with Ozmocote Vegetable and Herb Mix from Bunnings. The plant was watered when needed during dry spells but this spring has been a bit of a wet one so mostly I have let the rain do the work. I move the plant into a small tool shed I have overnight to give the 12 hour plus darkness needed. But mostly it is a natural grow. Had some seedy outdoor from a bush grow last season ,made iso oil with it double washed 1st wash 5 minutes second wash 1 hour,was incinerating the waste and wondered if the seeds were still viable as they were popping and they are,I would have thought it would surely have destroyed it,but the ones I threw in a pot of manure are coming up after a good hour soaking in pure iso then sitting for months in the fines.
