Hey guys, Heres the second installment in my grow season, these are some newly transplanted outdoor sativas. They are still suffering some transplant droop, but have recovered nicely and are looking much healthier ( a few days before these photos the leaves were neally drooping to ground. many dead and most leaves very brittle) but now leaves are nice and lush again and the droop is starting to subside Secondly the shock seems to have had an "shit im going to die, i better flower" effect to the girl, which has rust/orange colored pistilate exploding out of her preflowers, yay! -cheers guys

Yahoooo, my seeds sprouted about 2wks ago and I was able to successfully transplant them to larger pots now there should be nothing to stop them except cops, theives, bugs, diseases, my own incompetence etc oh well with the help of ppl on this site perhaps some of these problems won't be as detrimental and I may have a half successful grow. I'll post a pic of the seedling later in the week when the 2 plants have developed 4 sets of leaves each, Just a quick question though all things being equal and a good space between the plants what ratio of males to females are expected from seeds. Thanks PS in later posts with pics i will describe the conditions I grow the plants u…

i heard of a method to gurantee a harvest by scatering about 100 seeds around in an area of a few sqaure metres. I might try this with some bag seed to get a decent yield. I realise this will produce small stunted plants but it is a guarentee of a harvest. Any info on this method?

g'day everyone Here is one of my ladies. She is a pure indica that a mate of mine bred, and was kind enough to give me some seeds. To me it looks very similar to c99, but see what ya think. She has about 3 weeks to go until harvest. Its sorta hard to tell the height, but she's about 5 and half feet high and about 5 feet wide. She has a very fruity smell and because it is pretty much grown organically, has a very nice taste. I'll put some pics of the clones that i took off her in my grow thread. They are booming. wade

To All that can help. I was wondering when is the best time to harvest this winter? (which month). Some flowers are just starting to come up on my friends meter high plant. Will it stop growing now? hope not Also how does one tell whether a plant is female or male? How high should a plant be before it can be possibly tied down? and what is the best way to do this, or is this even worth doing at all? Also is there a particular strain or seed type that is best suited to QLD? does anyone know if an INDICA strain would grow ok in this outdoor climate? is it worth purchasing. Sorry to make this really long Any help on any of my questions would be GREATLY APPRECIATE…

I will be transplanting my girls soon and I have been thinking about the best way to 'stealth' my outdoor buds ( just a plant or two in pots ). I have to be able to 'hide' them from time to time in a narrow gap between a shed and a fence ( about 80cm wide ), so I thought I would try and put a wire structure up so that I can grow the plants sideways, rather than in the traditional bushy shape. I'll just trim all the branches that grow the wrong way and be left with a 2d version of a plant! I don't need many buds as only smoke twice a week or so. What do you think? Has anyone had experience growing their plants in weird ways?

Wish I still had the sort of place to grow weed outdoors in full sun. I had a sweet crew of 6 plants strategically placed around the garden... bamboo or tomato plants work a treat.... the average joe hasn't got a clue what a dope plant looks like anyway, serious! With outdoor plants you can admire them more often, walk around them, especially if they're taller than you are, and really watch nature goin hard at it. I fed mine bananas, and other rotting fruit. I also used various seaweed extract fertilisers and piles of rotted cow and chook turd. Even though they were in pots (my folks visit now and then) I found by sinking the pot into the ground they are easier to concea…

would it be alright to just germinate the seeds and plant them in my backyard and just hope for the best? i would water the plants and tend to it but to just add not too many nutriants and chemicals.
