hey all, just a question one of my plants has started flowering, should it be doing this isnt it to early for it. im in brisi and it started that week we had storms every night for a week, and it got dark a bit earlier could this be it.

Yep. The shorter day confused it into thinking that winter was fast approaching. It should stop as soon as the light cycle returns to normal. You might help it along by shining a flashlight on it at night time for a few seconds. Even moonlight can fuck up flowering cycles. Street lamps are a bugger too. For growth you just have to convince it summer is still here. If you don't want it to bud yet you'll see it stop growing for a bit as it changes back from flowering to growth regimen. Don't worry. A couple of weeks and it will be sprouting new growth again. The storm may have stressed it too. Just hope it doesn't turn hermaphrodite. The good thing is you now know its female. Its female right?

I'm not sure thats the best idea. If you in Aus the days are getting shorter and its the right time for plants to be flowering. Shining torches on it in the middle of the night will only stress it.
