I have 4 plants and 2 of them there tricones are clear and the other 2 are a bit cloudy and there are a couple of amber ones coming through. My issue is i have to fo to nz for a week and was wondering if i should pull them before or should i wait till i get back. Everthing is all goood to leave them for a week as in watering a stuff but not sure how fast they are going to change to amber and reach there peak.

Hey guys i just had a thought regarding trichomes and genetics, now i have 2 100 percent indica strains obviously indicas are known for there couchlock, body relaxation properties well everyone says to harvest when trichs are cloudy generally but cloudy trichs are for head highs correct? And amber is for bodystoned? So my question is with my 100 percent indicas that genetically designed for bodystone, will i need to aim for amber trichs still to get that effect or because of genetics i should aim to harvest cloudy trichs? Thank you

Hello there, I am in a state of confusion because I pretty much have no where to dry my buds anywhere other than the bush this season. I was planning to get a large cardboard box and put string through it to hang em up. Then I thought about it more considering that I might to need put up exhaust fans and all. Does anyone know if there any long lasting solar panel fans or would a big battery hooked up to a small desk fan do the job. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks

Hi all, newbie here. I'm growing my first plant. It's indoors with LED lighting. It's afghan or afghan skunk. Anyway, it's taking a ridiculously long time to grow, it's been months. I have buds grown but the pistule type things wont go cloudy. I'm in Australia, sunrise at 6am, sunset at 8pm. Theres been hot weather and humidity lately which seem to make my plants branches sag. Even the main stem is starting to keel over. So I'm on this forum to learn how to speed up harvest time. I was using 12/12 lighting but just changed it to 10/14 because there is still some ambient light before and after those times. Guys, am I doing the right thing? I would muchly apprec…

So I decided to try a bit of curing while I had the option to do so. While it hasn't been long it has already changed them in that the smell is different and a sample from them is very, very smooth.

Hi all, I like to weigh my grows, really just to see my gpw and understand my personal usage and requirements. So, what sort of scales can people recommend please. I have a small digi scale ive had for decades, but my older age laziness is getting the better if me. I only care for weights within a gram, weighing a minimum of an ounce at a time, preferably 2-3. Any ebay recommendations please ? Weighing in 2-3 gram increments is doing my head in !!

Time to seal up some jars for long term storage. Most of the time it dosent last long for me to store, in new year i will b moving to greener pastures where i can live and grow in peace and get back to growing out side it has been many years. A jar of the Green Python and a jar of sweet special, both sealed with duct tape then wrapped brown paper then placed in a foam box with a lid (the ones u can get from the supermarket with the lids they get there veg in) under my bed for best stable temp. Lets hope she only improves and dosent go to shit

Guys as topic states. No chance of drying my harvest indoors this year. I planned on doing it outside in a camping tent with an oscillating fan running in there. Is this possible without wrecking the bud? Any other ideas for the dry/cure? Thanks.

I thought I would put this up as there is some confusion about what 'gram per watt' means and how to calculate it. GPW is a statistical measure of the total amount of lighting energy used to produce each harvest. Thus GPW isn't simply - I used a 400 w lamp and harvested 400 g... I have an efficient grow. How then would we compare to grows, each using a 400w lamp and yielding 400g but differing in other factors? To be meaningful, we must take account of energy use over time. Once we have done that we can compare grow cycles that vary in a range of factors (lamp size, time, lighting schedule, and harvest). The worked example is imaginary and answers the question abo…
