Hi all! My first post here, hi all!! I'm growing 6 different strains in my growbox, and one of them is nearly ready for harvesting, but one other one still only has white hairs, no amber, so still has a few weeks to go. The others are all inbetween, some a few days away, others a week or two. How would I harvest and dry them the best way? I can't dry them outside the box because of the smell, which the carbon filter takes care of for me inside the box. And I have read they should be dried in a dark place, so inside the box while the other plants are still growing seems to be a no-go as well. So Im sorta stuck and dont know what to do. Heya Guys, if this works as well as it should , will do a Tutorial later........ Been playing around with a quick and easy Bud Trimmer design, that you can make at home in a couple of hours, and costs ya under $100. I kept the equipment simple, 20L Handy Pail, 250mm 35w Ceiling fan, snap off serated blades, Sheet of Mesh, and ya may need a few spacers and washers and an old fan shroud (small to fit in top of ceiling fan surround, but not touch blades). I have yet to test it out......waiting on harvest time.........so dont go out building one just yet.. ...just throwin Ideas out there........ S'Goin on? Grown from seed since September. Should be 7 feet tall but with LST bent her down to 5 feet. See pics of how main stem recovered from being snapped during LST. I simply imobilised the snappage and let her do her thing and continued with LST on rest of her. 40 litre pot, strategically placed on top of soil so I wouldn't have to transplant to bigger pot or worry about being root bound. I suspect she's grown into the soil beneath. Soil composition 50% Coir, 25% Perlite, 25% Vermiculite. 100% organic worm castings (and worms, they guys are great, they burrow and make holes to oxygenate your soil, not to mention deliver their shit right to the roots) since seed. Has anyone tried drying in an old fridge? Seems to dry food out if its not gladwraped. I have issues with smell and close neighbours. I was thinking i could "burp" the fridge when they were asleep. Would the fridge dry it too fast? Timo PS...great site.....tons of great info...you guys rock! Edit- Meant to put this in "harvesting"...damn my clumsy...sorry.

Hi there, I have a plant that has me a little stumped. It seems like i'm getting a lot of brown hairs, though I thought the buds would be thicker before that happened. The second last and last pics are the central / main branch of the plant. Other pics are buds on top of secondary branches. This one plan in the photos was grown in coconut fibre, fed hydro nutes, flushed regularly. It's outdoors, but i've been putting in a dark cupboard every 12 hours for past 5 weeks to artificially cause it to flower! All help on how far away i might be is appreciated.

Hi Guys, I have several plants that are a few weeks into flowering and things are going along fine. However, I need a fairly small amount just after xmas and if I was to make a predicton, I would say these plants will technically be ready to harvest around 5 January. I was wanting to trim away one of the lower buds around 28 December and leaving the rest of the plant to finish off. Questions: 1) Is it ok to 'trim' off a couple of early buds without effecting the yield of the plant overall? 2) Where should I cut off the stem? Just below the bud or cut it off at the central stem? 3) Out of interest, does it matter if I trim some leaves off at this stage? It's blocki…
