Hey all, I was just watching the news and heard about the possibility of blackouts throughout Perth. What do people with hydro setups with lights and pumps and stuff do when they lose power? Those poor bastards..... Dunno why I mentioned that.... Maynard

The instructions say to use it once about four weeks before harvest, but I have read that some use it continiously until flush after about 3 weeks into flower. also, I'm much more concerned with quality than yield and some say while bud additives add to yield they detract from potency. comments from anyone who has used PK13-14 appreciated...

:: For great outdoor growth rates, I've always had great success with this. When the plants are established out the back, take a bucket of kitchen compost and make a pile near the plant(s), like a mini compost heap. Cover with straw or lawn clippings. The plants receive extra local CO2 from the decomposition, exrta nutrient and some acididity, which they love. Happy growing!

hi guys! I've been growing this plant for about 4 months now. It hasn't always received as much water as it shouldv'e and it got a bit shocked when I transplanted it, also this is my first attempt so I know it's nothing special. I've had it on 12/12 (putting it in a light proof shed, actually sometimes more than 12 dark hours) for about a week now, and still no sign of flowering. Also, I've been feeding it bloom booster every day, about 1/2 strength, and it receives full sunlight for its light period. My big question is, can anyone tell me if its male or female?? I've read a lot of posts and other websites on the topic, but I cant for the life of me figure it out for myse…

Heres the scenario, Basically im living with my olds, and they are not fond of the old mj So i need a compact setup, indoors, but soil as a medium. Now i have found myself a light, as to how good it is i dont know, but its metal hooded ( like inside a metal hooded casing ) and is of tube type. Its very light purple when turned on, not dark purple like a UV. and it casts off a bright white light. i dont know how good this is, but im only looking to grow one very small plant at a time, say a foot or so tall. now i need to ideas in what to construct my grow box, that can fit the 60cm long light. I know this is a tough ask, but i need it to blend in as something, or be i…

Hi there everyone... Been a while since I've said anything about my situation vis a vis growing, aside from an occasional post here and there and replying to queries from fellow members here. Well, seems like I've finally gotten off my arse and started up the cabinet proper again... Now, firstly, let's review the last grow I had... I was growing Bluewidow, and had a plant of each major phenotype, the heavier indica and the more sativa influenced plant. I've decided this grow will be exclusively with the indica phenotype. Whilst it may not be the higher yeilding of the two, it was more dense, and fruitier in scent and flavour. As it was more compact too, I think it wo…

Hi guys, Similar to the previous topic, I have yellowing and/or burning on some of the lower leaves on my hermie (since it's my first grow I'm treating it as if its the real deal, just for experience). It's outdoors in a big enough pot, full sun all day. I water it every day and feed it full strength manutec bloom-booster every 2nd or 3rd day. I was wondering if this is too often or not enough (the plant is about 3ft tall). I'm not sure if the symptoms I'm seeing (see pics) are caused by nute deficiency or overload (burn). How can you tell the diff between deficiency and burn? I know that yellowing of the leaves is a N deficiency (isn't it?), but don't really have much id…

I'd like to thank everyone here for their help with my first grow. I got 80gm/s of bud from 5 plants, which I know isn't great, but I know I'll do better next time with the experience I gained from my first grow. I took some clones from my fav plant, and am in the process of cleaning everything and getting the rootlings into the flood & drain system. Now that I've `cut my teeth', and invested in HID lights, digital PH & EC meters, etc etc etc I'd like to try a known strain. I'd love some suggestions on strain's and sources from others. Thank you again for help everyone, & again, if I can be of any assistance with electrical advice (except stealing powe…
