Nute deficiency or burn?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Similar to the previous topic, I have yellowing and/or burning on some of the lower leaves on my hermie (since it's my first grow I'm treating it as if its the real deal, just for experience). It's outdoors in a big enough pot, full sun all day. I water it every day and feed it full strength manutec bloom-booster every 2nd or 3rd day. I was wondering if this is too often or not enough (the plant is about 3ft tall). I'm not sure if the symptoms I'm seeing (see pics) are caused by nute deficiency or overload (burn). How can you tell the diff between deficiency and burn? I know that yellowing of the leaves is a N deficiency (isn't it?), but don't really have much idea about burn, so I'm not sure if I've been trying to correct the problem I've got the right way (ie feeding it nutes, when maybe its already got too much!)? I hope this makes sense, its hard to explain so maybe the pics will reveal my concerns.

Thanks for the help!

cheers
