I'm nearing the end of my first grow and need a little guidance on flushing and harvest timing. My grow is a single Northern Lights in a DWC tent. I'm about 6wks after the 12/12 flip with the buds starting to bulk up a bit, but they look to have some more bulking up to do All trichomes are clear still, which I confirmed with a hand microscope (60-100x). I know I should flush with plain pH'd water for 7-14 days prior to harvest. The hard part for me is that I haven't grown anything before , let alone this particular strain. A survey of the internet suggests a harvest time around when I have 10-30% amber trichs. I'm cool with that, but how do I judge when 1-2wks befo…

Im planning to run extension leads down to the back shed run a tent grow. I need to join a few togetjer to reach it, roughly 60metres. Do you think it will affect the equipment. I will be running 600watt hps 6 inch fan (200w)possibly more lights for a veg tent. Im going to tape and silicone joins for weatherproofing. For stealth it will be buried shallow. Mostly worried about the length, whats your thoughts/experience? Thanks Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hi all, new here. Had a couple of grows the last few years and am still in need of a bit of advice. First of all ive been using pots, about 70l i think, so as to avoid termites. Ive noticed that a lot of outdoor grows people dig holes in the ground then put pots in? Is there any advantage to this. Also, id quite like to go organic providing I get as good a yield, obviously there are many other benefits going organic. Also, what time would be suggested to put seeds in. I usually plant hybrids jan/feb so they arent in late flower during the wet which is generally over by may. If i went full sativa (thinking gold rush by sss) would i be able to plant a bit earlier? T…

Sup fellas, new member, first ever post..im a bit technologically retarded too so dunno if this has been posted before. Bare with me. But anyway im a big fan of the natural healing benefits of aloevera it's full of nutrients, vitamins, good sugars etc etc.. So a couple months back I thought i'd break a aloe leaf and stick a dope plant cutting in the goo and see what happens.. I got roots thru not much quicker than using powder or rooting hormone gel, but like no leaves on the cutting/s died in the process and i have had 100% success rate with all my other cuttings since using just aloe.. Nice thick roots on all of em.. Doesnt seem to matter where i take the cuttings…

G'day everyone i just found this page and joined about 10 minutes ago. Cut 2 lower pieces off one of my frisian dew plants about 5 days ago and dipped them in powder, than poked them in some potting mix. They were wilted and looked dead until yesterday when i noticed one standing up. Just noticed the other one wanting to do the same. Wasn't expecting it to work, was more of a muck around as i've never done clones and didn't do much research. Here's a pic of yesterday and then today. Cheers

First of does anyone know if hm ec3 pen can be changed from us reading to ppm? What a prick of a unit. Sure it used to say ppm. Long story short my water tank run dry yesterday and looking for tne best alt water till we get some rain. In any case my (funny looking u) us is reading 302 from my dam, 189 us from the tap, if I leave the tap water sitting a few days is that going to be the better Water? I've already asked a couple questions in another person's thread and got some great answers, just thought it was a bit rude continuing the conversation. Started with 6 down to my last one now and she's a midget so really want to baby her from now on. With this heat I've s…

I have 2 each of 4 varieties all at week 7 but one plant has since day 1 been weird. Its a Bruce Banner (Photo) that has always seemed very healthy but stayed very small (about 40cm) and very dwarf like compared to its sister plant and all others in the grow. It grew vigorously so far as leaf growth but not in relation to height. It looked like some kind of bizzare leafy mop until I removed a huge amount of leaves to expose what seem to be flower sites but they seem to be sparse and there are not a lot of pistils and even now at week 7 its hard to see the pistils and doesn't look like its flowering. What is wrong with it? Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Timber cob LED's Cheap Bunnings & woolies soil mix amended with a few things Cow manure Mushroom compost Seasol Powerfeed Sudden impact for roses Heaps of reading on here has helped. Thanks guys, also thanks to itchybromusic's advice on soil etc and keeping me motivated to stick with soil. Even the one that grew really slow at first is doing well now. Still in solo cup. The rest are clones. One started in rockwooll still not recovered from transplant and may not make it. This is my second grow. First was outdoor. I bred a male bag seed with some double affie and got this thing. The daughters are stickier and frostier than the mother was so I think I did ok. Stil…

My fellow horticulturalists, Has anyone tried propagating plants using leaf cuttings? And has there been any success? I am currently doing two experiments: 1) with a tiny leaf with a small piece of stem attached, dipped in clonex purple and set in sphagnum moss in a cup under plastic wrap. After a week the leaf is still green, but no signs of growth. Female parent plant, basically Colombian Gold two month old plant. 2) is a fan leaf with seven segments and leaf petiole attached. No stem tissue. I dipped the base of the petiole in clonex purple and set in sphagnum moss with no cover on an inside window sill. Only done today so no progress to report. Male parent plan…

G'day mates. Due to the high amount of overpriced mycorrhizal products on the cannabis market,I thought this might be handy. https://moldresistantstrains.com/diy-how-to-make-mycorrhizal-fungi-inoculant/ It only costs a few dollars in materials and your local soil and can make more mycorrhizal fungi propagules than most people could afford to buy. Also I learned to avoid ectomycorrhizal propagules, as cannabis and the other annual plants are all associated with endomycorrhizal and they cant associate with the other. Cheers.
