The pro's and con's of COCCO

Recommended Posts

Another good thing about coco, its easy to dispose of, it will break down in the garden, lawn or paddock , or ya can throw it in the compost,  unlike perlite, clay balls or rockwooll

put a few more in straight coco lol see how they go, not sure why ya need cal mag in coco, so won't be using any, just budrite and bass sulphate of potash

automatic watering would be shit hot, ain't gunna happen tho, to much fucking around for outside, be alright if the pots stayed in one place, you would still have problems

water temps be a killer for starters

still recon coco is shit, same as rockwool and fucking perlite, but its a bit hard carrying an Areoponic set up in and out everyday, so its the best of a bad bunch for now

it will all go to shit know doubt, can't be this easy to grow in coco, not from what i been hearing  :jar:

I’m just mucking about in my garden. :)

You may be right Carbcon. Not for me though. At least not yet.

That amount of rain at 0.0ec would have flushed my buffered coco and left my new transplant super soggy.

Once I have more roots, we love the rain. Until then I let them go through a few wet/damp cycles. I reckon by the middle/end Feb, it’ll be daily feeds.

Bare naked during prep. No ground contact.

I’ve played around with coco for a few yrs tryed different ratios , I’ve found [emoji817] % coco run to waste and water 30 min after light comes on and 15% run off ,as my go to routine, I have tryed watering twice a day I didn’t find enough increases to warrant the added expense... would only water twice if I was growing in a small pot and it dries out between waterings
