Ok, I have had several arguments with people over the take or wait debate... hopefully some other opinions will help. This is the situation... The bud is not yours... the person with the supply is more of an aquaintance than a friend, or not really even a friend at all... mostly you just happen to be in the same room. Do you sit and wait for the owner to pack for you, or offer the bowl or whatever to do it yourself? or It's there, it's prepared and the person supplying it has obviously gone with the intention of offerring it up to whoever wants it Personally I go with waiting... isn't that just common respect? and if ur a waiter... how do you go in a room full o…

yeah, first harvest day tomorrow , and still undecided about a couple of things, as usual. Done me research, like a good student, but , as usual, makin it harder than it has to be.... Plan on dryin in my grow cupboard, has a centrifugal and carbon filter. Should take care of the smell, and mould shouldn't become a problem. Temps are always in the 20s. I've also made up some lines to hang the plants on. I've read /heard in various places that's it's better to simply chop as low as possible and hang the plants upside down. This allows for the internal processes to go on in the plant more 'naturally', including rehydration of the outer surface from within the plant …

anyone used the head rush bioponic nutrients? i have been told they are the best nute going around. heres the info on head rush for the HF website HeadRush nutrients will enable your customers to fully embrace the Bioponic phenomenon that has been occurring in North America and Europe. Unlike conventional inorganic based nutrients, HeadRush provides a full suite of exotic organic compounds, metabolites and biostimulants, as found in rich organic soil. The net result ensures a more vigorous and robust plant, faster growth rates, with an increase in flowering and flavour. It is a two part mix that you can custom tune to the various phases of your plant cycle and t…

Hi there How much direct sun should new seedlings get outdoors? It's high 20's on average most days where I am and am uncertain if new seedlings should be getting direct or indirect sunlight, or a mixture of both in the early days.

I have done a search and can't find any info. I have heard here and there that you have to be careful about what your nute tank is made of. I always buy a bunnings special usually $10 for a black plastic 60 litre tank. Are these OK to use or should I buy one specifically made for hydro from a hydro shop. Does anyone know what can actually happen to your plants if the tank is leaching? regards aussie1

Do I need one of those biodegradable pots for hydroponics? I have a pot with four holes on the bottom middle of the growing pot. So If I use a growing medium (say rockwool) and will cover up the holes. Will the roots find their way into the four holes through the bottom into the reservoir ?

G'day all! Last sunday I felt extremely lucky when my single plant showed it's sex to be female. But now I'm wondering if I've got a hermie (I have no idea of strain or anything, it has just been grown from a seed I found in a stick). I was hoping someone with some experience would be able to look at my pic (link below) and tell me if the circles of red are male flowers, because I'm not sure as this is my first ever grow. I intend to continue growing, since I already have several rooted clones. If it does happen to be a hermie, should I be pulling the male flowers off to hopefully grow more seedless bud?? If the pic isn't clear enough please let me know and I'll t…
