I am on my way to growing my plants and for soil would the dirt from my worm farm be good

i think it would be but just making sure. Also i could add 50 worms to each pot and they should be able to keep the plants healthy.

Oh cool Harry, just replied in your other thread about soil mix, but you have worm castings, even better!

That would be one of the best things you could use. Just use it the way you normally would. I think from memory about 1/3rd worm castings per mix?

So i would just mix 1/3 worms castings with the normal sand in my backyard or potting mix

Yeah that's where I'd start. There's probably some old threads here at Oz Stoners with some good worm casting mixes, have a flick through the outdoor stuff and FAQ's.

if u growing in soil n want faster growing plants.. try adding a few coco fibres to your mix.. drains fast.. with good worm mix.. sand n soil n a few others u would have a very good organic soil medium

I have mixed i would say approx 50% castings and the rest of the pot with sand and some perlite and the plants(2 outdoors) are lovin it, although 1 is male.Just cant bring myself to pull it yet.

The worm wee is xcellent also.

Mixed the wee 1 part to 10 for foliar watering and for my garden bed and lawn just pour it on straight and give it a good water and walla.

burnt a few plants through foliar spraying at first but 1 to 10 seems like a good mix.

if putting the worms in the pot itself you would probably need to bury some food scraps in the dirt everynow and then or they might starve being in a pot.. Not to sure though they are hardy little buggers
