HERALD SUN A MEDICAL marijuana user plans to see in the New Year on an all-time high - by rolling the world's biggest joint. Los Angeles resident Brett Stone said he plans to usher in 2007 by building a 910 cm cigarette using around 112 grams of marijuana. Mr Stone said he was inspired to try for a record after learning that the previous biggest joint was made with 100 grams. "I thought the world's largest joint would have been a lot larger," said Mr Stone, 48, who runs the medical marijuana website dabronxnews.com. Medical marijuana use has been legal in California since 1996, when voters passed a law allowing the drug to be used as a pain reliever. Mr St…

Waste Not; Want More. And Other Scholarly Words. Some time back – years ago; probably late 1980s, I homebrewed some wheat beer. I remember that this brew did not come from a pre-prepared can of ingredients that you mix with sugar-water and bottle. This stuff was made with hops that had to be boiled in a net-bag, with ingredients and procedures I have long since forgotten. Anyway, the time and effort paid off because I made about a hundred and twenty dollars worth of beer for twenty-something – using the old extra strength Australian owned Redback as the standard. I know I made more than two dozen long-necks because I hide some of these in a box, at the back of a dila…

Source: Wall Street Journal Canada's moves to allow for medicinal use of marijuana have caused unexpected headaches here and prompted health officials to backpedal on some initiatives, angering marijuana users the government had aimed to appease. At the same time, Canadian justice officials are studying the possibility of decriminalizing pot as early as next year -- a prospect that alarms drug-enforcement authorities in Washington, who worry that such a move would increase supplies and depress prices for the drug in the U.S. Canada already is the third-largest supplier of marijuana to the U.S., behind Mexico and Colombia, according to the Canadian government. O…

As everyone here would know the only way we are going to get the canabis laws changed in australia is to change the fact that a majority of our population is ignorant. We can all sit around and tell the other people here(who in principle agree with our beliefs) but that isnt getting the message to people who otherwise wouldnt know it. i was just tossing the idea through my head then of a full page colour add in the big newspapers(courier mail, australian, sydney morning herrald etc) with information but then i realised i deffinatly wouldnt be the person to right it because so many people know the facts better then i do plus i wouldnt be able to afford it. thats wh…

A Hiatus and the Phoenix's Ascent
Come 2022, OZ Stoners entered a period of unplanned dormancy, lasting a challenging 12 months. But, reminiscent of the legendary phoenix, this hiatus was transformed into an opportunity for rebirth. The platform underwent comprehensive upgrades, server enhancements, and a revitalising overhaul. As it emerged, it did so with a phoenix-like rise, soaring higher and brighter, dedicated to serving the community with even more zeal and purpose.
Ode to the Trailblazers
The tapestry of OZ Stoners is woven with the dedication and vision of its founding members. Their relentless drive and contributions have been the bedrock of its success. While many of these pioneers continue to shape its direction, we pause to honor those trailblazers we've lost over time. Their indomitable spirit continues to inspire and resonate within the cannabis community. - Memorial Hall
