Recommended Posts

Some quick pic progress updates. Ive culled all my males today :( sad but they needed to go. I now have 9 left 3 are still not really showing. There are growths but they dont look like balls so fingers crossed. 5 males out of 14 so far aint too bad. I thought of putting up lots of male pics as reference. Cheers everyone happy growing.

Hey guys just a quick question please. On my plants i have these small moth type looking bugs that hang around on the stem when you flick them away they fly back or just go behind the stem. I noticed about 20 of them all over the big girl I give the plants a good shake almost daily which helps a bit plus ive applied ecooil. What are they? How do i treat this and if i need a different spray is it too late to do at least one more application of eco oil and whatever else is needed? Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. Ill try post pics of one in the next couple of days i sprayed more eco on them yesterday and coupled with a regular shake down every other day seems to work well. I think that will be the last spray this season. On a side note everythings going fine so far the rest are showing sex and are female bar 1 which i destroyed yesterday. Basically got a 50/50 ratio this year of male to female. Cant complain. I still think i will acheive my goal of having enough to last me until next season. Happy growing all. Ill put some fresh pics up next week.

Quick update for ya'll. Things coming along nicely now. Males culled except for 1 which is far far away getting jiggy with a female. This is whats left, flowers well and truly on their way! One plant in particular is far more advanced than the rest not sure why though. Also in one of the pics a couple of the girls have purple fan leaf stems. I read that this could be part of its genetic traits or a deficiency or cold nights im not sure theres too much bs on the net... Anyone shed some light? The leaves and plant look otherwise healthy. Bugs under control. Those moth looking things dont really appear to do much to the plants plus my last eco oil on them i drenched top to bottom. Be the last one they get. Happy growing everyone!
