Hi Folks, Just wondering whether anyone has had any experience with the Hailea water chillers, specifically the HC-150A. Temps are about to rise here and am a bit concerned that i am not going to be able to keep the res temps down enough to finish this little grow off. What i am hoping you can tell me is just how much of a temp drop one of these chillers can accomplish. My res is about 150 liters and I can pick one up for $100 so will grab it it is going to help. Cheers Z

Will humidity at 25 to 35% slow my plant grow drastically? I'm doing everything down to the t except awaiting on a humidifer and plants seem like they need one? Also I'm in my second week of vegging from nice size clones that had a good root system.

Hey Guys, This is my first indoor grow with random seeds. 1 looks to be some sort of indica/sativa cross while the other seems to be showing more pure sativa charactiristics. Growing in a 1.2x1.2x2m tent, 6" adjustable fan for exhaust and passive intake. 3 x 4" oscillating fans to move air round. medium is coco and 600w HPS with digital(lucius maximus) ballast. The girls are now taking water daily in their 7th week of flower and seem to look healthy apart from the lack of light to the bottom(i know most people just cut these off but i prefer to let nature do its thing i guess). I likely could've gone bigger pot sizes but not seeing any real root binding so i think i…

Howdy Folks, I have been wading through the many pages of threads in this area before embarking on my first attempt at DWC and from what i have read i think my main issue is going to be keeping the temp down in my res, pretty hot up here in the summer. Then i had a brainwave (or not). I have an small old bar fridge in the shed that still works fine, now i have no idea if this would work but what would happen if i made sure the lining inside the fridge was not leaking and laid it on its back and put 20 - 30 cm of water in it and turned it on? Would this work as a res? it would have to be outside the tent but nothing a bit of plumbing couldn't fix, maybe running it into ano…

Howdy Folks, Still trying to figure out a better way to keep my Res cool over the summer months and came across these little gadgets, I think they are about 40mm - 60 mm wide so quite small but i was thinking that 3 or 4 of these with computer heat sinks pasted on the backs will drop the water temp in a res by enough to do the job, They run off 12 volts and they seem very simple to set up. I will copy a couple of links that i have been looking at. Let me know what you think. Hey everyone, last grow I only got entill 8 weeks and started getting mold, I decided to pull up before I lost out even More... Since then Iv brought a Ionmax ION 610 Desiccant Dehumidifier 6L and the humidity has been around %45 %50 now the room temp is always around 20 to 25 now. Will this be enough to stop mold this grow? I still notice moisture on the leaves of a morning so a little worried there... How can I prevent mold? What's the safest solution to have on hand to spray the plants just in case of mold? Also is my humidity at acceptable levels during flowering ? The unit is set at %40 but seems to only get the room down to %45 max

Hey all, I have my clones Iv researched there flowering times and they are not all the same flowering times. I'm wondering how do I go about flushing each strain, I have 4 stains, 1 in each recircirlating pots. The strains are critical mass 6,8 week flower. Blue cheese,7,8 weeks Strawberry kush 8.9 weeks and lemon haze that a 9 to 10 week flower, what's the best method to flush all four strains since they all finish at different times and there in a RDWC system. It would be easy if I wasn't running a Recirculating system but I am...ant no space to move them into single pots.

My ph is reading 5.6-5.9 EC is 100-200 (is that's what its mean to be at?) I have added root 79 into my feed and no other notes. Am I on the right track? Or should my EC reading be a lot higher? Also when is a good time to start feeeding my plants nutrients? Sorry for so many questions and any help is greatly appreciated !!!

Hi guys, Just a quick question. I have 2 plants in at the moment 600 w 18 hours on 6 off Ec 1.0/1.2 Ph 5.8/9 Soilless grow in clay grow rocks Both plants look healthy but i have noticed on one that the bottom leaves are slightly yellow and starting to look like nitrogen def. this is what is really getting to me. Should I be making any changes to my ph? Or should my EC be much higher? I'm using simple grow a&b and a mag and cal nutrient also along with root 79. Overall plants look healthy just in the last few days noticed a yellowing on the bottom leaves. Can anyone please help me out on what this could be? Thanks guys [emoji111]

Hello, I am running 4 cmh's 3 of them being hi pars verticsls with the Phillips 930 globes and one nanolux with a maxpar globe it vertical...... I see on nanolux website there selling rf filters...here's what's they say RF FILTER KIT The RF Filter set is a product of necessity. Over the past year the FCC has come down hard on electronic ballast manufacturers. Until recently electronic ballasts received little attention. However, as more and more gardeners switch to electronic ballasts, the FCC has started to take notice when it comes to both emitted and conducted radio frequency interference aka RFI. The more electronic ballasts that are in operation the greate…
