Cannabis Harvesting and Refinement

Hi I'm at week 4 flowering with 5 good days of HEAVY rain and wind coming then two days fine then rain again. Should I cover my girl or will the rain do her some good?

Ok so I'm still about a month from harvest and I reckon I'm ok with the drying process but my question is about curing. How long do you keep buds in the glass jars and how often should you burp? And how long do you burp and do you move the buds around a bit when you burp? I've read people saying they cure for three months... so how do you store buds after that? I will be using most of what I grow to pay my mechanic so will need to store for extended periods.

On my first cure after about 4 months the weed starting smelling like old tried food herbs. A mate compared it to smelling like teatree. Done in Mocona jars cleaned and sterilized In the same grow, after the dry and then 1 week cure, I compressed a half oz and then sealed it. It smells great. AFter 3 month cure, it still smelt ok, I compressed another half. Opened up when I opened the half and it smells almost as bad. When I pulled the half out after 3 months it smelt fine. Another way to describe it is after having an outdoor bud in a glass jar for 12 months. Am I letting to much air in? Is it mould? Is has been humid Is it just how curing works? Is there anybody who has tried this method and how were the results? Taking into account flowering time size and close timing to the normal harvest date for that strain.... How were your results and would you do it again. As in the last 2 weeks the floral smell has changed every week and has about a month to go based on previous grows of this strain...and the longer I leave it the hash spicy smell of this strain smell overpowers the other scents that start off really sativa and floral.

Hey guys im drying my buds currently and they feel really dry on the outside kind of feel crunchy is my description if that makes sense, im hoping there basically right on curing because if they go much longer they may disintegrate haha the bottom branches actually snapped today but all the other branches bend so from what i read the breaking branches means ots done but the bending branches feel ready basically any tips

Hello there, I am in a state of confusion because I pretty much have no where to dry my buds anywhere other than the bush this season. I was planning to get a large cardboard box and put string through it to hang em up. Then I thought about it more considering that I might to need put up exhaust fans and all. Does anyone know if there any long lasting solar panel fans or would a big battery hooked up to a small desk fan do the job. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks

Hi all, newbie here. I'm growing my first plant. It's indoors with LED lighting. It's afghan or afghan skunk. Anyway, it's taking a ridiculously long time to grow, it's been months. I have buds grown but the pistule type things wont go cloudy. I'm in Australia, sunrise at 6am, sunset at 8pm. Theres been hot weather and humidity lately which seem to make my plants branches sag. Even the main stem is starting to keel over. So I'm on this forum to learn how to speed up harvest time. I was using 12/12 lighting but just changed it to 10/14 because there is still some ambient light before and after those times. Guys, am I doing the right thing? I would muchly apprec…
