Hi crew If you can control the heat of HPS (I have a 250 isomax extraction fan and 2 fans going with cool air coming from low) how far should you put a 600 hps from the canopy ? Like is it better to have it still 60-80cm from the scrogged colas or is it better to have them 20cms ? I have had them within that 300mm and had no burnt buds or leaves surprisingly but haven’t really noticed a huge difference like harder nuggets yet . I think if I keep it raised like I used to before I got the isomax then it spreads the light further across the canopy so keeping it about 40- 50cm away at the moment Just wondering if there was a preferred height or not Also I have a Dur…

I had ordered a 600w hps but it was out stock and got cancelled. This got me to thinking am I going too big when possibly a 400w would suffice . Not a huge tent,. 50x90 X 120 high Or should I stick with bigger is better, don't really see me ever upgrading to a bigger tent, I'm only a 1 or 2 "tomato" plant guy Anyone care to give me some guidance? Howdy. Might anyone use, or have used, 315W lights with the built in ballasts, inside a grow tent? There are some great prices going for these lights at the mo, and I've been keen to have three of these set up in a 2.4 x 1.2 tent for a while. But the thought of the ballasts inside the tent does put me off...added heat and all. Would anyone here have some experience with this? Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hey crew I left my bloody 315cmh in my veg tent on with the tent unzipped last night cause the kids interrupted me in the shed so I rushed out and forgot to zip it up !!! I checked this morning , usually flower is 6am-6pm and cmh 6am-12am Should I shut off flower light for a full 24 hours just to make sure ???

Hi gang just a bit confused researching this - was hoping to find a pinned post of a previous one but no luck I’m looking at a new carbon filter and canfan fan setup for my grow room as I’ve decided to remove my tent cause I was sick to death of smacking my head on lights and snapping branches trying to get around them in late flower cycle as I had to have it in a corner restricting access.... So it’s approx 15m3 (3.8Lx1.8wx2.4 high) which calculates to 530cubic feet .... then I read you divide that number by 3 to replace air every 3 mins ? So u look for a fan which is 176cfm.... plus 20 percent for carbon filter so a fan around 200cfm .. See I’ve already confused mys…

Hey crew Was thinking the other week when I was cutting off all the small popcorn branches underneath what a bloody waste of good bud sites they are and I wonder if anyone has tried using LED strip lighting under the pots or run between pots to increase yield underside of the plants ? Maybe not worth the electricity or heat factors I suppose but just food for thought has anyone tried something like this instead of side lighting ? Feel free to shoot me down but just thinking of ways for more bud !

Hi gang Fuck just wrote 4 paragraphs and it deleted it all Thanks for the advice about emojis and cut and paste boys lesson learnt - I’ll attach now what I originally wrote now I’ve had time to do it again hahaa Ok so I’ll try again ! I’m in Perth I have a shed made out of 50mm cool room paneling and in one closed off corner section about 3x2 with a door enclosing it and inside that section I’ve put my tent in which is 2.4 long , 1.5 wide and about 2m tall with all the usual equipment and water tank etc . Hi guys. Trying to fine tune my tent (1x1x2m) Ive just got a heater and humidifier for thse tent however i think my exhaust is to strong for them to take affect.
