G'day guys, i'm setting up my 80x80x160 so far i am testing out temperatures at the different light settings I have an intake fan and an exhaust all running with an oil heater at a low setting. the heater does the job as it's a small tent and the temp seems to be consistent. the humidity however at the moment is at 30% with temp at 27 the temp i can fix but i'm just a bit confused about humidity... how do i maintain humidity? I haven't tried any method yet, but i had a look at a small humidifier that i have and it auto turns off after 3 hours? so how would i maintain constant humidity at say 60-70% for seedling is constant humidity even necessary? the stoner me keeps…

My temp is currently sitting at 34C and I'm having trouble getting it down. My set up is hydro autopots in a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m tent. My current exhaust is as follows: Carbon filter > exhaust fan > ducting to 600w hps in cool tube > ducting to outside I believe I also need to set up a fan to bring air into the tent and also exhaust out. I'm really unsure what to do to bring the temp down apart from buy some kind of aircon? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

hey all, just trying to make sure i dont end up with a fan like the horrid growlush/ grofan. so in the market for an extraction fan and been weighing up: -price -noise -efficiency ( ec motor is pretty much a must) -versatility eg. speed control, temp / humidity so most versatile and quiet on a budget is the 150mm 6" ac infinity cloudline S / T6 with the ability to control speed down to 33cfm back up to 350cfm in 8 speeds, ec motor so max 64watt draw at 350cfm and 32 dBA at 3m. bout $220 aud posted to aus, as i figure US to aus postage is 50-60 aud price on site is 160aud + wire fan up to aus electrical plug + covid 19 wait on shipping round all for price, efficiency…

I'm after reliable and quiet extraction system for a 5 X5 tent. I've researched my need to move about 250+cubic feet of air per minute. I need a very quiet extraction system - maybe using a speed controller ? Hey everyone, after some years of having a couple of grow tents stashed away I’ve finally have my own place to be able to set one up, I’m only starting with the smaller tent it’s a mars hydro 600x1200x1800, it’s shit quality light leaks out from the zipper stitching get what you pay for I guess, Anyway my question is will I just get away with using one 6inch exhaust fan with the bottom flaps of the tent open or do I need a intake fan also? G’day guys It got down to 1.6 degrees last night and my tent (90x90x180) is in a garden shed with LED and my seedlings are fucking freezing! How can I heat my tent without burning my shed down? G,day growers & smokers, got a converted wardrobe and wanna try reducing humidity, are these peltier technology dehumidifier even worth attempting to use at all inside the grow..can it reduce humidity a few percent considering the air transfer rate. i read that its ideal to have the dehumidifier outside the grow but i can't do that..its has to be inside the grow, i'm considering this 2000ml Hysure it uses 70 watts and is ideal consumption for my situation.the dehumidifier would be against the passive intake..i could make a basic shroud around the intake filter & the dehumidifier to capture more air flow. also the air flow speed is based on Blauberg Turbo 4" 2 spee…

G'day All, I want to expand my grow room and add/replace some LED lights to my 600W HIDs. I'm looking for decent quality and willing to pay a little extra. I tried a couple of Viparspectras but wasn't satisfied with those for a couple of reasons. Appreciate some reconsiderations of brands/models available in Australia - I don't want to ship from O/S. Hey crew Genuine question Just how important is keeping a 100% dark room? I’ve heard people talk about putting black tape over the power board circuit breaker light for example ? I understand the principles behind it , just makes me wonder when growing outdoors there can be a bright moon and things like that - does it happen ever outdoors where they turn hermie or foxtail etc ? I have two identical tents, 1m x 1m x 2m high, and a 6" ventilation system. Intend getting a bigger tent one day. ☺️ Until then can I somehow set up one vent system for two tents, if so how? I need to set up a better vent system. We have had some hot days and the little vent system is really struggling, plus only one tent as a vent system, which is 4 inch. PS: make it simple
