Just chasing some help for selecting CFL's for a small room. Ideally Id be chasing bulbs between 40w-80w (heaps of 130w available but they are bulky and get much hotter), Would prefer to have x2-3 6500K bulbs for veg and 5 or more 2700K bulbs for flower. As they do not penetrate well would prefer multiple smaller watt bulbs around rather than just one bulb fixture. Where can I buy them who has experience with buying them in AUS? No i don't want LED or HPS

Will changing from 18/6 to 24 hours help me getting a faster harvest. Im still like 2 weeks away problem is I go away in 2 weeks. Pineapple express 400w HPS, Coco grow (hand fed) with canna nutes. My think is the 24 hours of light might get me to the finish line faster. Or would the change freak the plant out. THIS an AUTO GROW Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Have got a flower tent of 1.2x1.2x2m already with a 400w LED for my prev 3 grows and looking to upgrade to a 600w HPS. I have the tent built within a cupboard with about 1-2inches of space on either side between cupboard and tent. I have a 6inch phresh hyperfan attached to a carbon filter which sucks air from within and expels it out the top of the tent into the living room, cannot expel air out of apartment. This has worked fine for the LED with minimal heat as temps have never been an issue. my 12/12 light schedule is 8pm lights on, 8am lights off - allowing the lights to be on during coolest parts of the day and off when its hottest. With this in mind Id like some…

Hellooo I'm noob to this, I bought a BOSSLED 800 watt grow led, it's a cheap Chinese one. Cost about 150 I have since heard that that probably wasn't the best thing to do. I don't want to spend much and since I have already bought this led, I was wondering if I can use other smaller led bulbs to make up for how shit it is. I heard it has lots of red and boule but no uv. Can I just get a uv led lamp and put it next to it? Im looking at growing 2 plants Thanks for your help

A search for good lights (the following is of course all theoretical, and has no bearing on any real situation, yada yada yada) * The Situation * I live in bloody nowhere SA, a few hours from the hills. The wife and I are v-e-r-y disabled. And with the fuckin death of the council housing system, all us sick folk have been fobbed off into buying old country houses in areas where there are no longer any jobs (which works for us) and also no infrastructure. And so is life with the coalition. Because we are no longer living in the city (not for ages now) and are really too bad off to leave the bloody house more than once a month or less due to disability, we have no socia…

Hey everyone, so i'm having a problem (and have been since I started growing) with stealth. I have put almost over $500 into inline, mixed flow and centrifugal fans, to find the right one over the past 3 years. The inline and centri fans were cheap chinese rip-offs, so I didnt really get to test them well, but am now on my 2nd Phresh Hyperfan http://www.hyper-fans.com/ Started off with a 6" Stealth then sold it and went for an 8" Stealth, in hope to use it at the lowest speed and have minimal noise. They both have this noticable whine, like a jet engine taking off, right in the sweet spot on the speed controller where I want it (about 40%). The other problem is the …

Hi, Currently researching grow tents etc. I've only grown outdoors 5th grow this year but now that winter is coming I want to learn how to grow in a grow tent using LED. Tent size is 120cmx120x200H and looking to purchase a 6x 100w integrated coblight to conserve power. Will this be enough lighting for this size tent ? What other accessories are needed Fans, inline fans? It's doing my head in. We have no Hydro shops that sell plug n play set ups. I will be driving 6hrs to the big smoke to buy tent cos I'm paranoid. Any help greatly appreciated Someone help a country girl out

I have been using the Growlush oscillating 180mm clip fans but I go through 3 or so each grow (use 6). They either stop working when in use or when I turn them off at the end of a grow they don't start again. So, I've been googling and searching and googling some more and so far I have squat to show for it...except lots that are super expensive, noisy or more growlush shit. Any recommendations for a good quiet oscillating fan out there fellow herbers?

Hi all Just want some feedback on the nextgen ballasts. Ive read quite a few mixed reports ranging from great to shit. Seems issues are mostly with the switchable 400/600w tho. Anyone have any experience with the nextgens?
