Over the counter medicinal cannabis could be made available in Australian pharmacies as early as next year. The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has flagged it intends to make cannabidiol (CBD) medicines available without a prescription. An interim decision made by the TGA would mean patients would only need to consult with a pharmacist for access to the substance. Cannabis operation discovered Nearly $22 million of cannabis has been seized and four men have been charged in the state's north, after 20 industrial grow houses were discovered. Police said they located and seized 7,200 cannabis plants and about 50 kilograms of cannabis head, with a street value of $21.6 million. Four men, aged 20, 34, 35 and 37, were arrested at the remote 120-acre property in Gibberage, near Lismore.
