got some weird looking purple patches on my plants, seems to be coming from the center of the growns near the buds. Is this some sort of flowering nutrient problem? more phosphorous or potassium maybe? Any advice on what this may be would be super helpful. thanks F D L

This shit showed up about 2 days ago and looks to me like a K deficiency (or maybe I'm just burning them) - its been well over 10 years since I've grown and never in soil or with an Auto soooo.... Need some advice from the experts. Hope these pics come out OK, just got a camera phone thing at the moment. Here's a bit more background info. The problem is only at the top of the plants and only on 3 or 4 of the fan leafs. A few below these ones are starting to turn a bit of a lime green colour instead of the nice healthy green of last week. I'm using hydro nutes cause thats what I had lying around and they seemed to love it in veg. Been using flower nutes for a c…

My plant is early into flowering and has been showing various health issues for a while. The seed is a Cares seed's skunk. The location is essentially indoors, with the exception that I have been unable to have the light on for more than 12 hours a day (very obvious to passers by when it is on at night). This hasn't been an issue as the plant did go into flowering after a reasonable amount of time and my next batch of seeds are a type of AK-47 auto's, so I can't image a permanent 12/12 cycle causing major issues. I use 1x 600W HPS light, am growing in a large pot with some premium potting mix (comes with a small amount of slow release osmocote mixed in, probably not ide…

Hi all, i'm having some problems with ph rising. I'm running a bio-bucket or DWC system - 500L, the same system i've been running for a few years now. Never had a problem with unstable PH till the last couple of grows. I've been using the same nutes, Dutchmaster gold (their full range used at their recommended levels) for the last couple of years too, nothing has changed with regard to the system or the nutes. I run a 6800Lph pump that turns the water in the buckets over about 10 times an hour plus each individual bucket has its own airstone. Water temp is a balmy 21-23c. Now when i mix up a fresh batch of nutes i adjust the PH to around 5.5 - 5.8 as recomended by DM b…

hi all, maybe you can shed some light on this.on the back of the bottle it says to use 5mls to 1 litre of water for aggressive strenght or 3.5mls for normal strenght thats fair right, now here is were the problem comes in.i have told him to use 3.5mls for the first few weeks then go up from there if all is well.yesterday he comes back with a feed chart from dutch master that says to do somthing totally diffrent, the feed chart says to use 2.6mls per ltr for normal strenght for week 1 and 3.6mls for agg strenght in week 1 the ppm should be at 950 nor and 1250 agg week 2=2.75mls nor and 4mls agg and ppm at 1000 nor and 1350 agg week 3=3.1 mls nor and 4.5mls agg and ppm at 11…
