hey what's your;

Nutrient Strength (PPM/EC):

PH Levels:

Medium:

purple stems are not a worry

probably, i'd just flush the heck outta them an start off feeding again

:peace:

Nutes PPM = 1000

Ph levels = 6.0

Medium is hydroton clay pebbles EBB & FLOW

Purple stems are unusual for this strain. I did a complete flush. Fucking sucks bc i spend buku cash on my nutes, and i use 70 gal res. Any way happy plants are worth any nutes. Guess i could flush again, but some are looking better, i still have not dialed in what im doing wrong tho.

Thanks

Maybe im watering too much, but when i sample the hydroton they are usually moist.

G'day mate. May be a possible Zinc deficiency? Have a read of the below, and check the links in my sig for further info. Hope it helps, and you find the answer.

Zinc

Zinc plays a roll in the same enzyme functions as manganese and magnesium. More than eighty enzymes contain tightly bound zinc essential for their function. Zinc participates in chlorophyll formation and helps prevent chlorophyll destruction. Carbonic anhydrate has been found to be specifically activated by zinc.

Zinc Deficiencies

Deficiencies appear as chlorosis in the inter-veinal areas of new leaves producing a banding appearance as seen in figure 18. This may be accompany reduction of leaf size and a shortening between internodes. Leaf margins are often distorted or wrinkled. Branch terminals of fruit will die back in severe cases.

Also gets locked out due to high pH. Zn, Fe, and Mn deficiencies often occur together, and are usually from a high pH. Don't overdo the micro-nutrients- lower the pH if that's the problem so the nutrients become available. Foliar feed if the plant looks real bad. Use chelated zinc. Zinc deficiency produces "little leaf" in many species, especially woody ones; the younger leaves are distinctly smaller than normal. Zinc defeciency may also produce "rosetting"; the stem fails to elongate behind the growing tip, so that the terminal leaves become tightly bunched.

All right

This is the deal. I changed my watering regimen and have purchased two different nutrients one foliar and one is a liquid micronute organic from earth juice called microblast. The foliar is Foliar plus which is just a n-p-k fert. The earth juice can be used as a foliar as well. SO i am deciding to do both. I have rinsed/flushed the plants in 6.0 water and left them there for a good 20 min. The bad ones/ big ones i had to move from a different location got a double flush.

I still think my nute lineup is fucked. If you look to my first post y'all will see it. Whats the deal, Is magic green (House and Garden Foliar add on) got the zinc?

I have some pics of the plants i know that is important.

Also some of this strain flowering right now, so you see, i want my babies to grow up healthy, like them.

Thanks for the replys.

Flowers are nice, had to switch from HPS to MH the other day cause of burn out. Im not so sure Hortilux is the best anymore. Im just old school i guess. Thats for another thread. The pics of my grow/clone chamber are after the treatment. Im adding the microblast today after i top off the res. Im gonna throw some more notrozime in their because i can tell they need it. Im gonna add that sweet citrus from botanicare also b/c the girls on the right row are getting ready to flower. Maybe thats why they are the most deficient.

here are some pics of my work in progress. Future flowering chamber. Adjacent to my grow/clone room. Those are a couple of pairs of 3 ft t-5s i wired up, to a table.

Also a table my homgirl made. I need one of the myan rain god CHAC and then i will put it in my room.

Peace

Question for delta 9, whats the deal with the ladybugs, you got an insectorium? There isnt one within 250 miles of me, I was trying to get a wasp called encarsia formosa , it was a predator of white fly larvae and thripes. Dr doom works good but i hate using anything i dont need to, i know pyrethrins are ok, but ive never used insects to combat pests. Is this wise in a small operation like i have?

Also I could use some good ideas for a micronute supplement
