I am suffering my first case of mould, ever. I live in a climate which until now, mould was never an issue. The mould is starting where little caterpillars are or have been living in the buds. If you add all the wet weather we've getting you have mould. I have been trying to remove all the mould from the plants but, when I come back the next day, I find more. So all I can do now is rip the rest of the plants up. I guess I'm a bit lucky because I've only lost 1oz or so of smoke, so far, and it could be much worse. I used Dipel to remove the grubs but it was to late, the damage was done. I really feel for growers living in humid wet places at this time of the year. I h…

Im not sure if its nute burn or a deficiency. My nutes are originally for hydro and the bottle does not mention nitrogen. It only says PK-13-14. It could mean nitrogen is 0 and might explain a deficiency. Im not too sure…

Hi, Yesterday I pulled the first plant of the season. I trimmed it and put it on a screen to dry. Today I checked it and found grey mould on two of the buds. There was no mould on it when I trimmed it, well not that I seen. So the mould has attacked the buds after it was pulled! I have moved it to a better location to dry and I'll keep a sharp eye out for mould now. I removed the affected bits and cut the buds up smaller. There is a lot of rain about so should I treat the remaining plants e.g. with a spray of fungicide or potash? Pic shows three buds with two having mould. Bigrat

I will tell you what ive tried so far but its getting to the point now that they may not come back from this. so far, ive repotted, given them bounce back, up and downed the nutrients, always check PH, today ive given them some insecticide for the roots thinking it could well be thrips or something evil in there, i have some other stuff to do the leaves with on Monday. they are looking really f***d up at them moment and im completely at a loss as to what to do now. Im really hoping someone can throw some ideas at me. I might also add, im having to tie up branches, i think ahead of time, as they are st…

Growing indoor, under a 20W Fluorescent light. At vegetative growth stage. No fans currently... I just changed from a garden soil to a potting mix... The plant went from perfectly healthy, then the leaves started drooping; and are now withering, yellowing and curling up... My first attempt to grow my medicine and after 3 months some of my plants are just wilting and dying. I have sandy soil (sure I live on an old beach sand dune) which I constantly dig compost into to build it up. Could it be competition from being in amongst other bigger plants or is this a disease. It is very quick like a couple of days and they are dead. Still have a few left but this is terrible as it is like my lifeline (keeping my eyesight) is being taken from me.

I'm doing my 2nd grow, and I'm really happy with how all my plants are going - most of em are well into flower, and there's some nice looking buds Just noticed a couple things in the last few days though, and don't know whether they're cause for concern or not, so any advice/opinions are welcomed. I'm growing outdoor (greenhouse), in soil in pots that are about 30cm diameter and 50 cm tall Been feeding with seasol and powerfeed every 2 weeks and I water when they're dry Don't know any of the strains - most of em are bagseed Ok... A couple plants have got some leaves with only 3 points..the plants seem fine otherwise. Is this a normal thing? pic 1 shows some 3-p…

my outdoor plant is in bud stage, for about month now, flowering i mean. I recently, (2days) notice the leaves on the buds are half yellow, half green. the yellow half being closest to the flower, the outer is green. weird. My feed cycle might be the issue. I am using dutch master gold nutrients. I will probably answer my own question in this blog. I am feeding the plant according to the dutch master indoor feed rate, there is the problem right guys? I should lower my nutrients for outdoor weather? Should I feed it everyday or every 2nd or 3rd day? the weather here is between 23-32 and getting cooler. I hope u can understand my blog. I am growing in a huge pot, with…

QUOTE FROM GOPGOP@ Return of the Grashopper. " I also asked what the Gnat/ scarid fly/catapillar bacteria I got was, that you can control pests in ya Coco with or prep Coco with, it is called "Dipel" , it is the bacteria 'Bacillus Thuringiensis' . Nice way to control bugs in ya medium without going Neem or some of the harsher Chemical controls." Well......after wondering why the Gnats seem to be still around I did some research, while my hydro shop guy was on the right track, he made 1 error, the 'Dipel' product is Bacillus Thuringiensis kurstaki, this controls catapillars and the like, (and he thought also Fungas Gnats and Scarid fly) but in fact there are Hundr…

i think it is too late now to help but anyway i need some advice. i have some seedlings that were growing very fast and stretching. this may have been because i left them in the dark for a few hours before putting them outside. but now they are outside and getting sun they are still stretching too tall and the stems are very weak and thin. without a support they would fall over. i put them in a good place with a bit of wind to strengthen the stems, i think only 1 out of 4 will survive . can anyone tell me how i can prevent this from happening in the future. thanks.
