Hey everyone Does anyone else have problems with the roots blocking the drainage holes in their collainders? We are running recirc system with clay balls, and the roots seem to clog the holes up resulting in a flood. Any suggestions? Cheers

Hey, I'm currently doing a grow with COCO/PERLITE 65/35 ATM. My babies have got one set of leaves the other one is still in rockwool they're both under the 250 WATT fluro light. I moved one of them into the pot with the coco/perlite and i've washed it with PH water etc etc in POT IN POT drain to waste. hydroton underneath pot in pot etc etc.. My question is I've got some of this permium soil shit from bunnings & I was wondering IF I put my other seeding in a pot of that, how would I go? Do I need to adjust the PH of added water or is it fine just to add normal water? I can take a picture if need be of the bag of soil that I've got, but i'm just curious. It seem…

Hi All, I have a shortage of viable seeds for a particular strain. One sprouted about 10 days ago and after it had grown about 4-5cm, I put it outside in a cut up plastic bottle of the top. Seemed to be slow to adapt to conditions and I think the heat and direct sunlight today might have dried things or over heated things a bit too much. The top of the plant is shrivelled (maybe top 2cm) with the first little green leaf shrivelled up and it was flopping over. I have watered it and brought it inside. I suppose my question is really whether it's possible to salvage this one or is it just worth cutting my losses use the pot for something else? If it can be salvaged, an…

Indoor/Outdoor: indoor Growing Medium: soil/sand Growing Style: Watering/Feeding Frequency: when dry Nutrient Strength (PPM/EC): none yet PH Levels: not sure Temperature/Humidity Levels: 20-26C Air Flow/Fans etc.: two small fans, one intake one exhaust Lighting Type (CFL/HPS/MH etc.): CFL Total Wattage: 140ish (cfl) Growth Stage: seedling Plants Age: 2 weeks Cannabis Strain: indica mostly i assume (bagseed) Anyone know what might be causing these holes? The plant seems basically happy, if a little stretched from starting life outside in a too-deep bucket. I searched the leaves and can't see any mites, but I guess that doesn't mean they're not there... I just couldn't se…

I currently have a cotton candy kush plant growing outdoors in full flower(big juicy stinky buds). i took some clones from her and transferred them in doors in a humidity dome under a compact flourescent light. I properly took the cuttings and dipped them in my rooting solution and they seem to be living. my question is how long does it normally take for the cuttings to start rooting when trying to switch them back into the veg mode. P.S. the humidity dome is sitting on a heating pad 24 hours a day and my little ladies are on a 24 hour cycle.

This might sound a little long winded, but its as good as i can do atm hahaha, sorry. Im on week 6 of flower right now, nearly the end of week 6 actually. My mate has been going thru the whole airy bud thing lately so im kinda spooked about that firstly. My buds are looking fat as, which is good, but ive never seen em so fat so quick, that, and im now noticing new light greeny bits here and there over them. So without me jumping to conclusions just by the size of them so far, what would you say the reasoning is behind the new greeny bits appearing on them? Im noticing too that there is now the top part of the buds kinda shooting up a bit and separating from the rest o…

Hey everyone I got some Jack Herer seeds around 2 weeks ago, I started this little one in ph adjusted rockwool. After 2 weeks under the 80w I moved her under the 600w HPS with about 50cm hight. I grow DWC style in a single bucket, I currently have 1 two inch airstone(should get a few more this week) Im using RO water pH adjusted to 6.0 and the water has been holding there. 1/32 strenght nutes(very week) 2ml A 2ml B in 15L of water. Temps are between 20-26c Humidity is low at around 20-30% The roots look a little brown not the white they should be. Well she started off ok, then the first set started to yellow, the new growth looked fine. Came home today and it looks …

Has anybody had an issue with CCTV camera's in the grow room. I have had an issue, plants acting like there was a leak, tops of cola's stretching 3 weeks into flower, calyx's growing straight up in pair's instead of clumping, top leaves curling/hooking down. Have been having this problem for the last 2 months, as I had changed strains, it seemed like the strain was the cause, but that is not the case. With 3 new strains in there the same is happening, I run DWC so there is no under or over watering or fertilizing problems, water temp is kept at 19 degrees, the room runs around 29 degrees & 50% humidity, 22 degrees in it's night period. I resealed between my veg & f…

I gave these seeds to a mate to look after while I was on holidays. Came back and they turned out like this: http://i.imgur.com/BgIhb.jpg http://i.imgur.com/7Y0ll.jpg I just arrived so don't know what his setup was, judging by the crop obviously wasn't a very good one . I was hoping for them to be a little taller so I can start planting them out in the garden. The soil looks rubbish and I'll be replacing it with some real stuff when the store opens. Is there any way of recovery? There's still a bit of green on them so I have some hope .

hi, hoping someone can help me, I noticed this white powdery growth on my plants about a week ago, it is on the leaves and stems of mature plants that i am growing in perlite under 400's in a closed cupboard. I have a fan in there, and water usually about 3 times every 24 hr period. I've taken a couple of pics, hopefully someone can give me some advice on how to get rid of it, because i am in the middle of a pick and dont want to put my new clones in a potentially diseased environment. Thanks

I already posted this in the introduction forum (Im a new member) but have now found the appropriate place for my question... I have obtained seed of White Rhino, White Widow, Super Slver Haze and Durban Poison, the seedlings have germinated well and come up strong but when they have about 2-3 sets of leaves they just seem to collapse quite literally overnight... I have noticed on a couple that there was a tiny dark thing moving inside the stem which I am assuming is a grub, and also noticed some kind of small fly thing hanging around. The seeldings were in good quality sterile potting soil, in tubes and taken outdoors during the day and brought back in at night. I …
