This is mostly an experiment so I'm not going to be heartbroken if it fails. There were two major problems. First, leaves started curling and drying out. They were growing quite close to the lights which I measured at around 60C - so I assume they…

Just a thought I had today while driving down south and remembered when I was young would do the same thing with my old boy, when driving through the wineries I noticed before and after each row of grapes was a rose bush. The reason behind this is any pest or diseases will attack the rose bush first giving the grower enough time to treat his grapes accordingly. Why not apply the same principle to growing in a decent size room cause to me really no point if you have a couple plants easier to check them thoroughly yourself, but if you have a nice size grow room why not chuck couple extra roses in each corner. Maybe roses won't work but sure there is another plant that cou…

Throw me a line guys, just did a watering, one of my babies is getting chlorotic? leaves. Yellowing leaves with green veins. I know its a deficiency of some kind, but the memory can't recall exactly what. Been poring over the High Times and Max yield issues, but as always, the issue you need is nowhere to be found. H2O for tonight's menu, but would like to resolve by tomorrow evening. A coupla pics.............

Spider Mites? 1 2

Some of the leaves on the lower half of this plant have gone pale with white spots. I took a photo of the most severe area and noticed little red things on there, are these spider mites? and would they be the cause of the pale/spotty leaves or would it be coupled with some kind of nutrient deficiency? Thanks

I'm growing indoors, in perlite, hand watered once a day, ph is around 6, day temp 24 -27 night 20-24 degrees, using a cooltube with a 400watt MH, they are 5-6 weeks old & are in the veging stage. For about 3 weeks now they have had brown spots on them as well as the leaves have been all wrinkled some curl upwards & some curl downward's. The bottom leaves seem discoloured. I'm also using canna Aqua & Cannazyme & rhizotonic. This is my first real grow of a named strain & not just some bagseed. So any help would really help.

Been feeding the girls a diet of Alfalfa Tea (literally just water that has had alfalfa seeds soaking in it for a few weeks) and a little bit of Seasol to fix up what looked like a bit of a N deficiency, but recently just saw that the leaves seemed a bit strange, on closer inspection I think its catepillars/larvae ? Anyone recommend a good way to get rid of them? And, what to use ?!! I dont want to leave the girls soaked in chemical pesticide or something, especially this close to being done flowering Few different photos of the two plants that seem to have it the worst. And just the other day I squashed a small Caterpillar off one of my smallest/recent plants, and t…

Hi guys, got a bit of a weird situation that I've done some searching about but can't find an answer. So I have one plant outdoors in coco which I started flushing yesterday as the number of brown pistils was increasing pretty quick, and growth had stopped for a solid week. I can't tell the trichome colour with my 30x loupe, maybe because I'm colourblind. So yesterday I noticed most of the leaves had started curling upwards and the tips were dead. I read up and found this can be caused by overwatering but in my case I don't think so? I've been using Canna A+B the whole grow and have had no problems whatsoever till now. I also noticed bright green spots all over the bu…

I have two seeds from known source that I germinated in paper towels. I then placed them in rock wool, just gently below the surface. Root pointing down - water used was ph adjusted - in plastic starter tray with lid. Tray is on a warmer - ph 5.7 - temp 26degrees - light is brand new compact fluro. 14 days have passed with no sprouting..? I placed a small piece of vermiculite over the seed 'hole' after the first week just in case the light was the issue. I have no idea what could be wrong - any tips would be appreciated.

Hey all, Anyone used these before? Looking to invest in some insect predators to clean out some aphids. Last year I tried lady bugs and predator mites which pretty much died within a few weeks.
