i make home brew bourbon and as a part of this process you make a wash which consists of yeast sugar and water, the bi product of this process is co2, now if i put this wash in my grow rm would i get better growth my rm is about 3x2x2.4, has anyone done this or heard of it or have any info on it. Anyone use bonsai wire for training? I used it for outdoor plants with much success, would shape the branches out and spiralling so as to form a platform of leaves similar to scrog but more elegant. Ah, those were the days Had to allow some looseness so branches wouldn't get strangled.

Sup everyone. It's been awhile since I've posted, so let me inform you that my bubblegum plants are doing tremendously. I've got some shitty pictures that I'll post as soon as I can send them to my email, but to give you an idea of how well they're doing, they've grown to about 18" in height (~45cm for you Aussies), have huge leaves, and are very bushy. Not too tall, but leaves EVERYWHERE. I noticed a few days ago that they both had developed flowers at their tops without my involvement whatsoever. I figured it was as good a time as any to start cutting back light hours. I've been taking an hour off the timer every day for two days now, so they're at 14 hours right now. T…

Hello everyone, i'm still waiting on those seeds and I found a very large cardboard box in my attic that is perfect (.75mx.75mx2m). I will be planting 5 of my seeds so hopefully I can get 2 females out of that. The box already has metal poles that go across the box half way up and at the top, so I will be able to hold my light from them. My main concern is will it be a big fire hazard? Can i get a fireproof blanket and toss it on the box? Is there anything that I can spray the box with that will make it fireproof? The box will make my grow 10x more stealthier. Thanks everyone!

Hey stoners, Just entering week 2 of flower and was intrested in what techniques peeps use to train or tie down there girls for better light coverage. Will make a screen for scrog next time but for this one will just settle for a bit of bondage. Also how heavy handed are peeps when pruning? or is no pruning best? Regards Mr white

Hello everyone I am new here and would like to say Hello to everyone here on this site. I am going to begin growing ice next week . I am going to plant 5 seeds and I will be using a 250 watt Metal Halide light for veg. and then I might purchase a 250 watt HPS light for flowering. I know what to do for basically everything germinating,harvesting, etc but I am a little confused about flowering . So I have a few questions and it would be greatly appreciated if you help me out. 1)When is the earliest I will be able to put my plants into flowering if I have my light on 19/5 during veg.? 2)Is it worth buying a HPS lamp for the flowering period instead of still using the 250…

how do you grow skunk far north qld short daylight ours wat grow medium for vege indoor flower out doors as skunk strains flower pretty much straight away after sedling stage when grown and germinate outdoors so we get them to foot and half under lights then plant outdoors in ground any suggestions

Do you ajust the ph of the water when u flush and what to..? 5.8, 6.0 ? Im using an aeroponic system that sprays a fine mist to the roots for 3 mins every 40 mins.. how long should i flush for..? 8, 24, 48hrs..? Do i flush during the flowering stage as well..? Are there any addatives that might help the flush process..? Thanks.

Hi everyone. I've been reading these forums for about four years and am only now trying an indoor grow. I've tried to grow outdoor in the backyard before, but the plants have either been stolen or a housemate freaked out and told me to ditch them. I'm in a good place now, with few visitors and a cool housemate. I germinated some seeds about three weeks ago in a glass of water, then planted them in some 6' pots of cheap potting mix. They sprouted within 7 days, but since i'm living in Melbourne the weather's been cold and plants grew slow. I've had a brainstorm . We've got an old waterbed here, so I'm thinking of taking the frame and set it up, place the liner inside it, and start tossing bags of coco cor into it. Use it as a typical veggie garen kinda idea, but with all the advantages of hydroponics!. Prob wont be able to do this right now, but I reckon I'll give it a go but. rob

How often should I flush during the grow? I do it only twice coz I'm lazy, and I've taken an EC reading of the nutes when I do flush- I run to waste- and it is as high as 30, I keep flushing til its down to 10 or 12, then feed as normal. Should I be doing this more often? aussie1
