I have an outdoor scrog I am attempting. This is a Blueberry clone and I am not expecting much in the way of stretch come flower. The plant was originally intended to be flowered already and therefore in a position where it wasn't supposed to get very tall. If it get's more than another 40cm or so high it will be visible from the road. Screen is 40cm high and approximately 1m2. Questions are when do I remove the undergrowth and when would I need to stop tucking if first flowering date around here is 6th February. Any and all suggestions welcome.

This is a typical 'Sea of Green' or SoG op. Clones receive zero veg time; once they have a good set of roots, they go in to flower. The method of putting clones in to flower with no vegging time keeps plants relatively short, to about 33-36" (~1 metre), which better suits the foliar penetration depth of indoor artificial lighting. When I first started growing, I loaded all 4 of my flood trays with cuttings on the same day. This meant all the plants were ready to harvest at the same time, too. Harvesting/manicuring is a time consuming, tedious task- and plants which are ready to harvest have the shelf-life of lettuce, it seems. I decided to break up the job to 1/4…

Hey, I have had a bit of a look over the forum, and find a lot of the time things are written in code... Some things I have been able to figure out over time such as LST and medium etc, but now I am thinking of doing indoor after my first outdoor, and there seems to be another entire language to learn. Soooo.. the lazy in me was wondering if anyone feels like doing a quick beginners guide of whats what and what does what and makes what- would be cool,.. or if it already exists and I am blind please link me.. Thanks, -Kitty

whats up guys im planning on making a custom autopot but with a geo pot, basically i just bought the smart valvue and ill be placing in a 500x380x80 hydro tray alongside a 7gallon geopot. ill be making a custom lid for the exposed parts of the tray to try stop as much evaporation as possible. now i havnt used an autopot system before but iveread a fair bit up on them, im planning on running 50% soil / 50% perlite/clay balls. also ill be using hydroponic nutes - gt ionic series (always have used hydro nutes with soil with great success) just after some tips/tricks/advice from experianced autopot users thanks

Hey, while i've been away i've been busy and doing research on bonsai, permaculture, landscaping, agriculture & watched tons of videos online and gardening australia which is where I found these ideas. You can use these ideas to improve the quality of your plants. Espalier (requires trellis or wire, regular pruning, tree ties)Re-potting - (requires removing old soil from existing roots and replacing with fresh soil...over time plant will absorb nutrients and run-off/leaching will occur)Wiring plants - (wrap wires about branches and shape the plant to desired shape) benefits include reduced height, stronger branches, better visual aestheticsMultiple grafts - requires …

Hey everyone, I was searching around the net and found a seed bank www.firestax.com Anyone ordered from them by the way? In QLD? They have some very nice exotic strain I would love to have At the bottom of a page somewhere it says this.... "Seeds of female plants that were reversed to produce pollen and then pollinate another female plant that has not been reversed. These seeds will produce all female plants. Is this true? What would be the success rate? And does this mean we would have to stress the female plant to produce seeds? Thanks

Hey, We need to go away urgently and have about 9 health clones that just rooted only 2 days ago. They are in rockwool sitting on top of perlite. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to keep them watered for about 6 days max. 5 days more likely...? I was thinking either a Bubble Cloner, but then the water level would drop? or not that quickly? Or, Blumats with coco, then wash the coco off when back from being away? Cheers for any suggestions... Btw i do have either H&G coco or Canna Aqua nutes, so could set up either way, as long as i dont have to buy too many things.. Cheers

Just wondering when the best time top my outdoor plants. They have just reached their first set of 5 blade leaves, is it too early to top now? I want to use this method to keep the plants short enough to not poke over the fence

Hi Guys, This is my first ever grow! Starting them inside to then be transplanted to an already prepared plot on a private property away from my house. Germinated 3 different medical strains 3 weeks ago and they are now starting to branch out really nicely. I gave them their second feed today and have been putting them outside during sunny days and bringing them in at 5pm and putting them under my LED grow light for another 6 hours. I built a DIY growbox to house them in as I have very limited space and live at home still so they are tucked away in the corner of my closet. I recently added a small computer fan to keep the air circulating around without making lots o…

Hi Im interested in an info on NFT and DWC, if you've done this or know how to set it up then pls post up. ATM I figure Two tents are a minimum, one to run a mum under CFL's or a 250-400 MH to harvest for clones, so a separate clone area would be good, Ive been looking at Turbo cloners. Then how to run them. ATM I guess... The clone area would be used to cut clones off a mature mum. One these have viable roots are they ready to flower? In a SOG NFT grow Im guessing the new clone wont need much time to 'veg' into its new area, and I guess that depends on how many pots you put in. I have a 1.4x1.4 area so an easy 1meterx1meter tube frame would fit in there. I've no idea how …
